Alot of celebs owned the first year ones (97) primarily because they were new and the prices were outrageous (~$150K).

I read that Cher, Sly Stallone, et. al. had them. I don't think they do now. Following the latest fads and all.

I suspect any/all that still do have one, most of them don't have time for talking about one of their cars nor would admit it (real sign on name) if they did.

I was actually mistaken for one of the nsync guys one day. Apparently a couple of them bring their cars in for service at the same dealership I used to go to (I think they said Joey and JC). I pulled my Prowler in one day and all the service people came running up, thinking I was one of band members. They were a little dissappointed when they found out it was just me. Go figure. From what I under stand, they were each given one for some promotion or something like that. I think they were each given a Viper also. Makes me wonder if I lost some testosterone and learned how to lip sync if Chrysler would throw some high $$$ cars my way.

Perhaps, but, all I ever hear about his collection or see where he is selling one, they are all German and mostly Porsche. He drives the new and collects the old.

He also gave a review of the "New Bettle" before it came out.

I agree.

Similar to the "Bad publicity is better then no publicity at all" mantra that has been pervassive in Hollywood for years.
