last weekend... Woke up to Sunshine in my window, Got up and put on a t-shirt and shorts. Went to the garage and pulled the prowler into the driveway. Washed it. Then little later put the top down and drove around in weather that hit somewhere in the 70's.... In Mid November... ------------------ |

Not to make the less fortunate members of our fine group jealous, but WERE PROWLERS MADE FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA OR WHAT????????????? 80 degrees, sunshine, no wind, not a cloud in the sky...haven't had my top up for the last week. Life is good. Driving a Prowler with the top down in the sunshine makes it a lot better, though. Dunno how you guys can bear to put your cars up through the winter... |

Ice skating, snow sledding and snowball fights with the grandkids is just too great to miss. Ice fishing ain't bad either! So, I'll stick with my weather and you can have yours... even if I can't drive the cat. It keeps me from taking it for granted, too.......and when I can take it out again in the Spring, it's like getting a new car all over again. I haven't put mine away yet, (soon, I'm sure) so, when I do I will look forward to Spring, and renewing my love affair with the greatest car on the planet!!

I miss the change in seasons. I loved being able to ice skate at the local park on the pond, go inner tubing on the snow down the big hills, etc. Those are some of my most fondest of memories as a child. I didn't like to shovel out the driveway though!! Would be nice to have a house in snow country and a house in the warm country so you could have a little of both. But I love driving through the fall foliage up north! Tami |

Tami - That is exactly why Arizona is God's Country. We live in the sun but are only 77 miles from the snow belt in Payson, 90 minutes away. I can go see it, have a snow ball fight, and be back into sunshine in no time! |

Los Angeles in January... surf in the morning, drive 1-2 hours, snow ski in the mid day, and back in time for a sunset in the lower mountains in 80 degree weather... Not that I personally go into the snow, unless I have to, but the point is, we can, and, we have the ocean too. ------------------ |

Marty - Todd is BSing you. You can't get to anywhere in that area in less than 3 hours! Surf in the morning? Even with wet suit, that water is frigid cold,,,,,,,,,,,,,makes it shivel up |

Waterskiing would be better, but I could try surfing. Got the wet suit and Reba said she will handle the shrivel problem for me. |

CJ, I don't get it... Are those black and white photos you posted of those trees??????? All I know is, if it gets any hotter out here, I'm gonna need to cruise with the top down AND the air conditioning on. And who worries about falling into the ocean? That's why we all have surfboards!!! I thought everybody knew that already |

HAWAII! Living on the windward side of Oahu where the temperature is 78 - 83 degrees all year round. Maybe a little warmer if the tradewinds stop. Wearing shorts, short sleeve shirt and sandals all year round while drinking coconut milk and eating bananas from my back yard. I can even grow tomatoes all year round. I grew up in Indiana and saw plenty of snow. Now I can see snow on TV and get a snow cone (strawberry) on the leeward side. Snow...nice to visit but wouldn't want to live there. Stay cool, Howard ------------------ |

I heard quoted on the "Today" show this morning that every year you live in California, your I.Q. is reduced by 1.4 points. |
