We are picking up our new silver Prowler next week. My husband and I have admired them for years, but last week, we broke down and bought a silver one that we both adored. We are so excited. I am amazed at how many of my friends already are requesting rides in it!! They are so wildly different and attractive. I am glad we finally broke down and got it. Now I can't wait to take it for a ride!! ------------------ |

Loreen - make sure you get ready to have the biggest grin ever! It will be tough to wipe it off Hey - don't forget your front ceramic pads and the mud flaps. I ordered mine before my car was delivered and put them on right there in the driveway (well the flaps anyway) ALSO, remember - that nose is looooong. It scrapes on those darn parking stops wayyy to easy Enjoy - and don't worry, you don't have to check the garage every hour to make sure it is there, but you will anyway LOL. ------------------ |

Hey, Thanks for the replies. We have already ordered the mud flaps and my husband is looking at the spoilers and the hard top. I see a trailer in the future too. We have a motorcycle with a trailer...why not a Prowler with one!! |

Oh, the who is going to drive it is easy...ME!! I made the final decision and wrote it off as my midlife crisis, so I am first in the driver's seat!! But I am absolutely sure that it will not be long after that my husband gets his chance too!! |

quote: By the way... the last digits on the VIN do not necessarily equate to the number of the Prowler off the line. These VIN digit assignments were shared between Prowlers and the Vipers (which were built in the same plant). For example... the last Candy Red (VIN 1C3EW65G92V102033) was Prowler #1435. There's a discussion thread on this site somewhere... Hardly anyone really knows which number their car is off the line. Welcome to the family!! See you around. ------------------ |

Welcome, and glad to see someone else with a Goldwing in the crowd. Larry Wildcat Mayes has a wing and so do I. Mine is a Red 98 with about 60,000 miles on it. All the miles were under 45 mph, SAME as the cat. ------------------ |

Ok well speaking of Wings Do any of you ever go to Americade? IF so we probably have seen you as I work as a trainer for Progressive Ins and we do most of the large Motorcycle shows, run the booth at Americade and sponsor the field events and the Friday night Fireworks Loreen always has the star of the family Goliath our min pin with her. This year he is sposoring the Ride For Kids poker run on Thursday... We have a 1999 Goldwing, 1997 Valkyre and a 2001 Wing that I just finished repainting PURPLE Still looking at trailers, could just paint the one for the bike to match the car or call John at Bushtec and see what he has for me Thanks for all the welcomes |

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Prowler. Get ready to answer any and all kinds of questions reguarding the car. I mean the other day I was in a little bit of a bad mood.... I drove the Kat to relax. I went to the gas station to filler up. 4 different people asking questions, by the time I left.... I forgot what I was feeling bad about. Enjoy the car!! And Silver is the way to go!! ------------------ |

Congradulations Loreen. You made a wise decision to purchase the Prowler. I am reminded every time I drive mine.
quote: I used the Prowler yesterday for "therapy". After work yesterday I was exhausted because I had only got 3 hours sleep the night before. I got home and took the Prowler for a ride to visit my girlfriend and completely forgot I was tired. ------------------ MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 This message has been edited by William Gallagher on 04-25-2002 at 08:19 AM |
