My answer - in the words of Meg Ryan - is YES, YES, YES!!

How many others think they will keep their cars that long?

Or do you feel that now that they are not making anymore, you will find some other "in" car in the future to replace your CAT ?

Call me curious

Happy Prowling

Alley Cat, Mad Mikey, Topcat - I didn't start this thread to make people think about dying!! It's supposed to be about how much fun those of us who keep our CATS will have over the next ten years. I am glad to hear there will still be a need for POA in a another decade!

Besides, my son drove the Prowler to Senior Prom the first week we owned it - he can buy his own in threee years after college!!

I just got mine today, but I will have to say I will keep it for a long time. I've had my Mustang for 8 years and I still feel the same way about it too. As long as the Cobra and the Prolwer can get along in the garage. I had to separate the Chevy and the Ford a couple of times. Just not a good match. The Vette is currently out for good.....LOL

Of course I'm going to keep them for the next 10 years..... will keep them forever, if possible.

Now that I'm lucky enough to have two, my sons will only have to fight over who gets which color!!

It has been my life long dream to own a hot rod. When I was young I was building a '31 Ford 5 window coupe. Then Uncle Sam said he needed me. I had my Dad sell it when I was in Viet Nam. As I said, I was building it and never even had a chance to drive it. There has been this empty spot in me ever since. Now that I have my hot rod, there ain't no way I will let it go!

Truth is I love the car.... I plan on keepin' this one for quite a while (10 yrs plus...). I didn't really buy it as an investment, but if it turns out to be a good investment, then I might let it go. Who knows what new "hot rods" will exist 10 yrs from now???

The Prowler has a combination of exotic hot rod looks, dependability, creature comforts and build quality at an amazing value..... now that I've got one I'm not giving it up!

Any other "cool" cars I might buy in the future will be roommates for my Prowler!

The yellow Prowler was a dream my 10 year old son and I jointly shared and would be tough for me to part with for that reason if not for all the others. We adopted our son as an infant and the birth father had a wish that our son and I would own drive a Hot Rod together.

I have learned to try and never say never, but WE plan on keeping OUR kat forever.
