I bought my first Prowler in early June of 1998, a yellow 99 and I have had the Woodward now since October of 2000 so I have had a Prowler for over 14 years also.

I don't get attached like she does but I still have my 47 flat head ford from high school and she is in love with the Prowler. It's a KEEPER!

How bout posting some pics of that flathead?

It's a little over ten years that I have owned my Prowler.
I plan to keep it the next ten years, but there be an appearance change.

I'm looking for a unique custom paint job that would appeal to me. I haven't seen anything yet that I like better than a single color. The search remains...

but it won't be just "yellow" ten years from now.

I am going to have to say "no". The car basically sits in the garage. The thrill of driving it has faded. The only reason I still have it now is my Prowler family and the big events. I am excited about going to San Antonio next year but I think that will be it. This time next year it probably will be for sale.

As of last April we have owned our Prowler 13 years. Unless something really unusual occurs we don't plan to ever get rid of it. If it it ever gets to a point I can no longer drive it, it will go to our oldest son.

I don't have a Prowler and have never had one but I've been there since before the car was approved for production. It is great to see all of the people that used to post. Many have sold their cars and moved on. Many are still out there. Some still read but don't post. I'm sure based on conversations that many others just got tired of all of the controversy like I did.

Here's a radical idea, let's clean up the posts and the active people start contacting inactive owners and encourage them to join back in. We could have a blend of long time owners and with newer owners that can benefit from experience.

Additionally, a larger unified owner group would give parts vendors more confidence to provide needed items.

Good idea Bob, if we had access to the email address the person registered with, that may make it easier to find some of these folks. I wouldn't mind breaking it up, maybe volunteering to take an area or state, and sending out emails & making some calls to find those that are registered but that we haven't heard from. A good way to clean up the member list too.

I will help.
