Wow, Andy I bet that was allot of work. Thanks. That trailer looks more practical. Likely has more room. It still does not have the visual impact of the Mopar matching trailer. I have never had a space problem with mine. ------------------ |

Ed, are you getting one of these or a Prowler trailer? I see you are getting a hitch. If you need to get up in the air to install it, call me, you can use my lift on a sunny day. (because my car will have to wait outside!) ------------------ |

Thanks for the offer Andy. I haven't even taken it out of the box but I don't think it is a very big deal. If it looks difficult I will have my sons do it. haha. I don't know what I am doing about a trailer yet. I can't locate a UHaul trailer at any of the local dealers. ------------------ |

Thought I'd bring this back up I finally seen one of these u-hual trailers yesterday. The guy at the yard couldn't give me any help on them either but he said it has been out in the back yard for a year pretty well and hasn't been rented out once, he thought they might consider selling it because of that fact. I wonder???? PK |

PK, last Spring when I was trying to locate one I got a totally different answer every time I called. Anywhwere from we don't have a trailer like that and never did, to we had one once but I haven't seen any around for quite awhile. I think they were discontinued to you can only rent them in Phoenix. This was from 800 numbers at corporate. They are stamped inside and out that they are not for sale, the property of UHAUL and if you have one it is stolen and you will be prosecuted. It is engraved right into the fiberglass on the inside and printed on several other surfaces. I would love to get one but I have pretty much given up hope. Check into it and see what you can find out. They look great on the hiway and I would love to see one painted to match. |

rumor is, the body of the Prowler trailer and the U Haul is made by the same company. There is a sport uhaul at the local rental by my work. Yes it would look good painted to match the car and would have a lot of room, but will you be able to buy one? so far the answer has been NO. ------------------ |

At a car show two weeks ago, someone mentioned that they know the guy who designed and builds the U-Haul trailers. They said he lives in Mesa, Az where I live, but I've never seen or heard about this locally before. It might make sense, since U-Haul's corporate headquarters are in Phoenix. ????? |

The guy I was talking to really wasn;t in the know but he did say it had been sitting there unrented for a very long time. I will keep stopping by it's on the way to my body shop guy I just caught a glimps of it through the trucks so had to investigate if it really was one of these trailers. I really think they suck big time in the white with the u-haul logo though
