I have some relatives that do nothing but "dog on" Chrysler products... They have always made derogatory comments about our Dodges and other DC products.

They recently found out that we had a Prowler and started asking for a ride... I said "No - you have sworn off Chrysler products and will not allow one in your family and have never had anything good to say about them - so why do you want to ride in one now?"

Think I should have been softer and given in...?? It just kills me to hear them trash my Dodges (which I have never had problems with) and then turn around ask for a ride in the Prowler...

Cliff....razz them back for a while, enjoy the moment of them wanting to ride in a DC product!....but take them for a ride, they might actually like DC products after the thrilling ride in the prowler.

Build up the ride experience, great anticipation will make them appreciate the ride more.

Have Fun!

Cliff- Make them sweat like Al says, then give in and agree to give 'em a ride. Load one of them in and drive to end of the block at like 2 mph and then tell 'em to get out and walk the rest of the way to their ford, chevy or whatever else they don't dog! I think that might get the point accross.

Cliff -NO WAY! If people insult my car company and I never asked for their opinion, it would be a cold day in hell before I'd even let them sit in it!

Cliff....

Make them sweat...take them out on the highway and scare the beejeebees out of them and then take their picture sitting in the Cat.

Next time they start ragging on Chryslers, etc. pull out the picture and wave it in front of them!!!! LOL!!

Tell them to suck eggs! Don't let them anywhere near the Kat. Tell them not to look at it, they don't even deserve the treat it is to the eyes. Thats my 2 cents.

I wouldn't give in. They don't like the vehicles, they don't need to ride in one.

SasyMama - You are harsh - but you do have a point.

If you give in, and give them a ride - CHARGE THEM! And then only role the car forward a foot or two, and say that's it. Remember the Bill Cosby show from the 60's or early 70's?

Personally......... someone dogging on my "sh*t would never ever get a ride in it. I'd tell them to buy their own. But, the other side is they are probably jealous... 2 cents say's they don't buy new every year.

Cliff...Take them for a ride in the prowler around your neighborhood, when you are about 2 blocks away from your home, stop the kat and tell them to check your rear-left wheel because you think theres a hole in it. When they walk out to check the wheel, tell them to WALK HOME!!! and drive off. That'lll teach 'em!
