What a weekend to say the least. As a very few of you know by now, our very good friend,Prowler Enthusiast, and active car collector Phill Schirico was diagnosed Friday with Cancer. He has Adnoe Carcinoma in his lungs and spine. For all of you that have had the chance to meet Phill and his wife Debbie you know what GREAT people they are. DavidN & I got to spend some quality time with them in the Hospital this weekend. The doctors state that he is in stage 4 and radiation starts today. PLEASE join in and PRAY for Phill, his family and friends. I can't explain enough here, but if you would like to know more, please e-mail me. PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY for this wonderful man that has the kindest heart of anyone I have met here in the POA and as everyone knows how many GREAT people we have here. Phill is hoping to go home late today and start outpatient treatments as soon as Dr.'s permit. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! ------------------ ------------------ |

I posted this earlier on the Off Topic Discussion post, but I want to repeat it again.... Paul......thank you for calling me on Saturday and letting Bob and I know about Phill and for keeping us updated over the weekend! Bob and I have been keeping Phill and Debbie in our prayers and thoughts and will continue to do so. I was lucky enough to meet Phill and Debbie for the first time at the TSW event a few weeks ago. We became fast friends through that event and lots of emails. Phill and Debbie are absolutely wonderful people and one of the nicest couples I have met. Please, everyone, pray for them and keep them in your thoughts. ------------------ |

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I pray cancer to be cancelled in Phill Schirico life. That he might believe if he doesn't already that your are real and that you care very much for his life. I pray Lord that you may give him peace in a time of great pain and trial. I pray for strenght in his time of weakness and joy in a time of sorrow. I pray Father that you may show him that you are moved by faith and not by emotions. I pray that he might be saved and that he might know he is loved by all those on this post and above all you Father GOD!! I pray Lord Jesus for another chance for Phill, give him a new beginning and a new direction. That he may be a witness and a testimony to your healing power I pray in Jesus name......... Amen !! May GOD watch over you and heal this terrible disease. I don't believe there is one person among us all that does not know one person who has or has had cancer. Forget AIDS and all the rest, this is the most important disease that needs the most research $ devoted to it. Hang in there and fight!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
