I have a 99 and am have always had these little dark spots especially on my front bumpers. Now they seem to be getting worse and my dealer tells me it is something I did. I have never used anything on my bumpers except soap and water not even wax. Has anyone else seen this problem and is there any way to remove these blemishs? |

Its time for the dealer wake up call. The spots I believe are imperfections in the bumper at the time of molding. I can say warranty. A nummber of folks went through the same thing with the headlamps that clouded until DC got involved. Good Luck, Al Becker ------------------ |

I have same blemishes on the front bumpers only of two cars. They are not too noticable. Just wondering if anyone has tried polishing compound? ------------------ |

Here's the deal, we had a Prowler dinner tonite and one of the guys had the dealer hand polish the bumpers with a light compound and they are really shiney now. HAND is the Key word. ------------------ |
