Gary C, I see you have a Valentine One Radar, do you like it? I'am thinking of buying one, but I think it is to big! What is your opinion, its not to bulky for our small windshield? I'am thinking of the Vale. or the Escort? |

Love my V-1. I would prefer to have one with a remote installation as it is a hassle to put it away all the time. |

I woould have to agree that the Valentine IS the best detector in terms of accuracy and distance and type of radar. Last summer we road tripped from Chicago to Sun Valley for the NCRS National convention (reg. fee only $35, btw!) and we had a variety of detectors. Passports, Solos, Uniden, Bell and Valentine ... Love the convienece and compactness of MY Solo, butthe Valentine was far more accurate, had MUCH better range and all in all was "The Rule" for when we slowed down from our break neck speeds. It is, however, bulky and has a cord ... oh well ... comprimises ARE a bitch huh>? |
