I love how my kat looks with the hard top. It is on 90% of the year even though it's sunny and beautiful here in L.A. 99% of the year. I was entering the Paramount studios main entrance, and the security asked me to open the trunk. I said "I don't have one" not really believing me. they asked me to pull to the side. With a flashlight I was able to show them how you could see from one side of the car to the other under the trunk. Still strict to procedures They wanted to see the lid open. well with two security guards holding the hard top, my pushing the trunk button and the third security officer looking in. I was able to enter, 20 mins later. I just now need to remember to take the Testarossa or something that opens next time. Thanks TGF for such a great TOP!!! |

I'd like to get a hard top if I had 3K lying around....or room to store it.... I need to get in my trunk a alot though, even though it's small, I have a lot of stuff in there. |

Thank you everyone for the kind words. We are very proud of the hardtop for the Prowler. We feel that we have designed such a successful product that we are in the final development stages of (2) new hardtops. One is for the new Viper SRT/10 and one for the Crossfire convertible. The Viper hardtop will be a stamped aluminum product with approx the same weight or less as the Prowler hardtop. At last years SEMA show, we made a carbon fiber hardtop for DCX's Viper. The Crossfire will be manufactured with the same material as the Prowler hardtop. Here are few pictures of these 2 new products.

That certainly gives the Viper a whole new look.....terrific! If Chrysler made it as a factory option,I bet you they'd sell one with every car! Great work! ------------------ This message has been edited by DR PROWLER on 08-10-2004 at 12:56 PM |

Yes we have. The Silver Viper in the picture with what looks like the black hood, Hardtop and deck lid....all of those parts are manufactured from carbon fiber. About half of the concept cars we build have carbon-fiber bodies to keep the weight of the vehicle down. The ME412 we built last year for DaimlerChrysler and was also shown at Pebble Beach last weekend, has a carbon-fiber body with a F1 style carbon-fiber monocoque tub surrounding the drivers compartment. We also manufacture all the carbon-fiber funnycar bodies for John Force Racing. We can manufacture almost any part in carbon-fiber.
