The California Kid car (originally known as the Night Stalker) was built by Larry Weiner of Performance West in CA. It was built as an image vehicle for Chrysler and was first shown at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. It was designed as a 25th Anniversary Tribute car to the original. Pete Chapouris built the original California Kid car (which was a 34 Ford Coupe and was in the movie The California Kid starring Martin Sheen) gave the project his blessing. I never thought that when I first saw it in person debuting at the SEMA show that just a few years later, I would own this awesome car. It is customized with a custom seats, billet grille, hand-hammered rear pan, Paxton Supercharger, hardtop and Lil' Louis flames and one-off copies of the original wheels on the original California Kid. I love it!!!
