18 Ferrari's, 18 Vipers, & 4 Prowlers, WHAT 4 Prowlers, had the best parking right next to the track's entrance. Promptly at 10:00 AM some saddled up in their Ferrari's, squeezed in the Vipers and the vastly out numbered Prowler owners started their engines. Well the Ferrari's went first so we let the Vipers go second while we, the Prowlers, went last. The first 2 laps got pretty bunched up at turns 2 & 4 so on the 3'rd lap we held back and then played catch-up and got going at a pretty good clip.
In all we had a great day and Brad and Mike from Infineon Raceway out did themselves with the great placement.
As far as the races went James Weaver and Butch Leitzinger not only gave team owner Rob Dyson his first ALMS win, but made history as the first drivers to score an overall win with an LMP 675 car. The two drove a Lola EX257-MG.
