quote: Actually the mirrors are like the time period for the truck. Don't remember what year it was built. I loved that truck and so did most of the people that seen it. The hood on that thing weighed a ton. Very thick fiberglass and they didn't have any springs or gas shocks to help lift it. The attractive blond on stage is Cathy and she wanted to open the hood and that is one vehicle she didn't after I told her how heavy it was, plus under the hood was dirty and nothing special Was sold on bill of sale only. It had a few hundred miles on it in 2009 the guy that was the owner had 50 vehicles for sale at no reserve. They were in the business and his father had passed away. It was his and his fathers dealership and wicked stepmommy wanted the cash and had no feelings. SO Johnny decided that selling them all at no reserve was the best way to deal with it. He had to buy back any vehicle he wanted to keep. One was his personal mustang race car. I drove several of the vehicle that Johnny had there. My favorite was a 1951 bus converted into a motor home. It was so cool. It had air brakes and they said needed a CDL to drive it, told them not a problem since I had a CDL with air brake endorsement. Was just to drive it up to the building and they would bring the cameras out to show it on the screen. Ended up driving it into the building for display before the auction. Then they wanted me to drive it up to the red carpet. I told them there was enough room for me to get out the door on the other side. So I drove it across the red carpet. Aside from the Ford emblems and tailights i would have guessed a Custom Silverado. Nice truck. |
