I had a lot of deferred service done on my '99 Prowler, 24K miles that I recently bought in Feb, 2019. I took the car to a private shop that was highly recommended by a top hot rod shop. R&R timing belt and water pump, R&R transmission filter, changed ALL fluids (brake, coolant, trans, p/str), checked rear differential, replaced upper and lower radiator hoses, serpentine and accessory belts, spark plugs, air filter, oil and filter change, general safety check and road test drive. I brought them the big '97-'99 service/diagnostic manual for reference, a gear puller, timing tools, etc...they smiled, thanked me and politely told me they were familiar with Dodge/Chrysler service and products and didn't think they'd need my tools. The car was returned, wiped spotless, including tire dressing and running very nicely...total charges for parts and labor $1519. I thought that was quite reasonable. I'm now waiting on getting the front lower ball joints replaced. Car drives and looks nice. I noticed that a few people have asked about these services, so I hope this posting may help other newbies. Thanks also to all the POA veterans who offered many helpful tips and suggestions. |

For all that work it sounds like a good deal and peace of mind. While you are having your new ball joints installed put a set of ceramic brake pads on the front, it will greatly reduce brake dust on the front wheels. My wife is the keeper of our Prowler and swears by them. |

I had most of the service items done that you listed from a recommended shop as well and think you received good value for so many services. Sadly, mine was not washed, nor were the tires dressed... I might have to call them and give them some heck haha, Glad they did such good, lots of peace of mind getting all of that done |
