Looks like 46 "cars" so far ... that's great! What is an event "record"? This location really does have a LOT to offer the "family" aside from just Prowlin ... antiquing, water parks, shows, sight seeing and good food (a must is the cheese curds and beer battered anything -- kinda like the south where they chicken fry everything, well, this is Wisconsin and they beer batter stuff!) I am still working on coordinating a panoramic photo -- if there is interest -- and the more cars the cooler it will look.!! |

quote: The event record is around 110 carsat Prowlin the Smokies. The reason ist not an exact number si there were a few members who did not stay for the whole event whom either arrived late or left early. At no specified point did we get and offical count. I thinks there was 107 Kats in the group shot. Which by the way took roughly three to four hours to set up the shot and erect the camera platform. Rich: I have worked with this company before, they are out of northwest Indiana. We used them on threed different ocassions for Corvette club photo. Had as many as 80 cars in one and as few as 25 in the last. Longest any of these took was 1.5 hours from arrival time to departure time ... I would NOT want to tie people up for 3 ~ 4 hours for a photo. The site will have a lot to do with it. We have a gently sloped hill here that I get permission from the landowner to use. Hopefully we can find something "like" that in the Dells ... just more info for folks to digest. |

The event photo record for time to take a picture was set in Ontario. Three days and they finally just decided to shoot what they had. At least it was a nice day. lol. Just kidding guys. By the way I got a threatening letter they were going to send my 407 bill to the credit bureau. Don't lend me money in the future, either. lol I have to leave now, I am going to go reposses THEIR cars. |

Cant slip nothing past you Jerry, I just called we only have one but the reservation was made 2-14 and the other name is early on so they tell me he may have called back and change his res since he now has a upgraded room. Now heres one for ya We have 2 Larry Bells, the one that's not TUIB is booked but TUIB is not so I think we need to hound him so we have 2 of them there and can charge all the extras to Larry Bell and let the two of them duke it out? ------------------ |

Ed my recollection was that it only took five minutes for the photo shoot. Guess you are going to skip the 407 on your way to Nova Scotia. ------------------ |

Frank, 5 minutes! Right, what was I thinking. A classic line for sure. I may have to avoid CANADA on the way to Nova Scotia. There may be a flaw in that plan, however. lol |

Sorry for any confusion about the 2 Robert Wilsons. I recently added the Sunday night (the 17th) to my already existing reservation. Bob Wilson |
