Top pic took 7 uploads to load correctly... Anyway, these pics just show how much of a difference wheels make. Let me know what you like and what you think of the photoshops. This message has been edited by Orange on 10-22-2004 at 05:26 PM |

Not for me and I bet the ride would be like a wagon with the low pro-file tires |

its pretty hard to beat the wheels that dc designed.thinner sidewalls=rougher ride.these things ride hard enough as it is. ------------------ |

I am still learning how to photoshop. Thanks for the comments, the next photoshops will have better sized rims, as I now see the rims I put on are too large. Please send me pics of rims so I can try them on. Remember, straight on pics, no angle shots. |

Orange - My opinion is that the wheels, just like any other modification you may do, are up to your own taste. I really like the stock wheels but I also like my car to be different from everybody else's. I chose to change my car with even more retro mods. That may be hard to grasp since the Prowler is a tribute to the classic street rod. I really wanted to go with the painted steel wheels and wide white walls and no fenders look but for now with my car being my only means of transportation I felt I couldn't give up the ride and handling nor the front fenders on a daily basis. I settled for Torq Thrust wheels which were really popular decades ago. There are only limited choices on wheels avaiable for our cars due to the size and offset unless you choose to have custom wheels made. Good luck finding the look you want. ------------------ |

they are all nice ! i was wondering what a "cyclone" style would look like.. they are the ones that have lots of thin raised fins all the same width.. they almost look like a turbine...... and would love to see some raised white letter tires on a cat... maybe one of you computer tallented folks can cook sumptin up ? |
