It is most likely that the last Prowler made will go to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum or they've talked about auctioning it off. Regardless, it is highly unlikely that it will be sold retail.

CJ is right,
Rule of DC's thumb. The very very last for the museum. But what I have heard is that there are several dealers attempting for the last "Sale-able" production.

I heard a dealer lottery was suggested and very much considered at this time. I know several DC'ers that have put in for it already.

Dealers are like vultures sometimes. It only stands to reason that they would now be attempting to get the last retail vehicle. Where were they when it came to promoting and selling the car in the last several years? How many dealers out there truly appreciated that car and its mark on the world? If they had done their job, maybe DC wouldn't have pulled the plug so soon. Maybe they wouldn't have all this inventory on the ground that they complained about they can't sell and MAYBE if they hadn't been gouging everybody all this time, they could have sold them, instead of being greedy. There were few dealers who really understood the car and even cared about it. Hats off to those that did and sold theirs in the manner it should have been.

Now, they think they want the last retail one to what..... try to sell it for $100,000 or more just to make a big profit? Yeah, they deserve it alright. Quite frankly, the "DC'rs" aren't necessarily the person it ought to go to either. Where was their interest before? Did they all love the car enough to try to save it?

The last retail car should go to someone who truly has a passion for the car and appreciates it for its beauty and historical value.

CJ - I couldn't have said it better. I agree 100% !!! I too think that Mike should get the last one - heck he has the last Plymouth - it is only natural. That is assuming he wants it
