I'm back! Most of you don't know me since I'm in Upstate NY though. I sold my 2000 Silver Prowler about a month ago for a Lamborghini Kit. Woops. That was dumb. I took delivery today of its replacement, a 2000 Red Prowler. Supercharged with all the goodies from Paxton. It's super fast. Any driving tips for a Supercharged car? I know it has 8 pounds of boost, that's about it. No clue on anything beyond that. Cheers! -Ben ------------------ |

If you don't have gears get them, huge difference. If you have the standard kit take off the canister around the aircleaner, good for a couple more lbs of boost, right Laddie???
If you hear any detonation back the timing off. ASAP HAY, Welcome back. |

Hey Gary......... No gears installed, max boost I've seen is about 8. It holds 3rd gear a little long at 6500rpm but it does function. -Ben ------------------ |

Hey Ben did you the Paxton Cat. Or did you just buy a cat with the supercharger on it. My advice just leave it the way it is. I have gears and the pulley upgrades. Gonna get the x-pipe from paxton as well, and waiting to see what's going on with the intercooler. 92 octane gas or better. ------------------ |

A good friend sold me his Prowler, he had the Paxton unit installed. Also had headers put in as well I beleive? Only advice I've heard is to wait till the engine is warm before driving...... ------------------ |
