It took me some time to edit the clips from my camcorder but it is now here. I want to apologize for all you 28K modem users because the file sizes are a little large. The largest file is 4 megs or so. I wanted to make it smaller but then I would not be able to put in my trailers. This is what I invisioned I would do so here it is. They say if you can see it, you can have it! Please be patient on the download time and I know you will enjoy what I have put together on this page! I know John and I had a ball doing it! Enjoy! ------------------ |

Dan some fantastic videos & performance by you & John D. I think you should change the rating to "S" Smokin.... The burnouts were nice but it semm John's were a little longer and he ran over a handicap sign....
I think you & John D. may need to make it to Texas Speed Week and try to win those slightly used tires.... Great shots, Great performance & really enjoyed the videos... Is it March 16th yet.... laddie... ------------------ |

Awesome,,,,,,,,,,,,, just,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Awesome Dan's got to get the academy award for photography and editing. These are examples of how much fun Dan and I have with our Cats. I'm sure the rest of you do too. For those with the 28k modems, take your time, I think its worth it. Laddie, we will be in Texas, and Dan is a good bet to be there too, maybe not his car, but he will. I know there may be faster Nitrous guys there but I'm not sure they can have as much fun as I am. That day was such a blast. We got a ticket that day for speeding on the freeway, but even that couldn't diminish the smiles on our face.

WildCat, I'm going to look into some video compression software. I tested my largest 5 meg file over 26k modem line and it took over 1 hour to download. I apologize to all of you who connect via 24K, 26K and 28K modem connections. This page becomes very unattractive! Will take a trip to my software joint and see what they have. Will update you on this later this week. Later... |

nice psych Gary! In all fairness, it looks like Adams blew the start, but what was he supposed to do after emptying your wallet. The cars are fast now-REAL fast-but I dont know about beating the stang. Guess you hadda be there! ------------------ |

Butchee, This may be biased, but I will go up against ANY Muscle Mustang, stick. I have yet to have a tang take this car off the line, or catch me by the next light for that matter. The whole idea of this race was to help show Dan get a better start with his Saleen when going against me. (another mustang yet to beat me). David was very confident about these races before they started. Maybe your right, you had to be there. We were, so were his employees. I'm pretty sure he tried to look good. Gary, I want what your taking if you see 10s,,, ------------------ This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 02-13-2001 at 09:23 AM |

JD, I didn't realize the stang was stick, but it did look like he was sleeping off the line. Regardless, your Cat looks fast!. Watch out for Gary-he is a snake. Check for JATO assist. Work on Dan to make the show. Wish I could! ------------------ |

JATO (Jet Assisted Take-Off) rockets came in many types and were used to shorten the takeoff of aircraft in short field or overload conditions. They were among the first practical applications of rocketry, and much early development of rocket technology by JPL, Aerojet, Goddard, and others was devoted to JATO applications. ------------------ |
