I would never be interested in having a hardtop, so I figured there was no point.

I think a hard top would good for a added option once in awhile, cant beat the price for a chance to win. Plus some of the money goes to charity.

I think the hardtop is too much, in regards to having the same color on your car. The black convertible top looks so cool on ANY color kat. I wonder what a black hardtop would look like.

I tried that Gary and it doesn't look shiny enough and now it moved. I'll start over. Good idea though.

I haven't because I have no interest in having the hard top. I understand that you don't have to take the top, though. You can take a credit against other products. Still not interested.

Sure-Ya- I bought one. Tis the season. $30.00
vs: $3,000.00 worth of goodies. Heck ya.
Chances are I won't win, but if a buck goes
to charity I'm happy.

I didn't KNOW. don't scout the other site much anymore. But if it is anything like the last raffle it may be years before someone wins.

I will not purchase one. Even at $30. Really think hard top would not be useful since it makes the trunk un-usable. It will not fit in the trailer either so if you are traveling you can never run topless unless you leave your top somewhere.

Has anyone bought that other hardtop-hatchback thing that you have to remove the trunk lid for?

It looks kinda cool and might be fun but, I don't want to re-engineer my Black-Tie every time I want to put it on or take it off.

Gee, I guess that makes it unanimous. We all disagree. I am not sure I would like the hard top, but it might be nice when the weather is cool to not have all the wind noise with the rag top up. Maybe not worth the hassle of putting it on and off, though. Anybody already have one?

Ed - I don't have one, but know its not a one person type of job to remove and put on.

Trey - I would assume the PT Cruiser type cap would be the same way, but more practical for luggage space. Hardtop does look cool!

I didn't realize John had one. Thanks for the pic. Gary. I think it looks great. That is the first real picture I have seen of one. I would like to see it in person. John how do you like the fit and finish of it. I realize you had it repainted but how was it, when you received it? It looks awesome. Way better than I imagined.

Hey Ed, I like the hard top. It fits well and is ajustable. I can put on myself but is alot easyer with a helper. I like the look, makes the car look totally different. It snaps in same holes as soft top. Deb and I have figured out a easy on off to get in trunk so it is not bad at all.

Thanks John. I think the top looks outstanding. I think they ought to give a black top to Mike K. just so he could switch it around on all of his cats and take pictures to post. Just my suggestion. Maybe all of us could chip in and buy him one to partially repay him for all he has done for us. Send small bills to me in unmarked envelopes.

the hardtop weighs 35 pounds. it's just tough to handle because of the size.
