If you had 2 Kats, both 2001, a pre-owned WoodWard and a *New* Orange Kat. Cost not a factor, and all personal ties set aside. Which one would you buy?
Also, if youd like, to not offend anyone, reply to me in an email:

I don't think you will find a 2001 Woodward, so you are not comparing the same year car. Are you buying it as an investment? Are you going to drive it? Which one do you like the best strictly by its looks? The Woodward will probably be worth more, down the road. I would say get the one you like the best if you intend to drive it. Maybe you want to wait for the new Blue.

Ed is right if it is a Woodward it cannot be a 2001. If cost were no object I think I would wait and see what the 2001 Dark Blue
looks like.

Personally, if I had my choice, I would pass on both of them and either wait for a blue or try to find a black tie.

Orange over Woodward but, money no object.

BUY A SILVER and have it painted the color I want. I feel the silver would be the best base color for a CANDY TANGERINE.

But if you are wanting investment car the `97 Purple, Woodward or Black Tie would be the car I would to speculate to have the highest $$ return in 20 or 30 years.

But what fun would it be to have a car you cannot drive for fear it would hurt the value. THIS CAR WAS MADE TO BE DRIVEN Buy the color you like and drive the wheels off it and die smiling

I personally think the orange color shows up in dim lighting or not based upon ones individual eye sight, some people have various perception differences in dim light.

I'd buy the Woodward-and I did. The orange hue selected by DC - well lets just say they should have spent more time, a lot more time, on the orange hue decision.

Hey I really like the orange. Great color!!! The Woodward is OK, But I like the black tie better. If you plan on driving the car alot, Go orange if not buy the Woodward. NOW if money was no object, Buy both!!!!!! hehe

Personally, I can say the same about the two tones, rare Prowler colors or not, they just do not look so good in MY opinion.

I don't know the response the driver gets who cruises in a two-tone black tie, but I do know the reaction I get from people who see a two-tone Woodward. First off, people love the car-as they probably love the Prowler in general. Second, they say they love the color combination which is a personal preference. Third, they say they never knew the Prowler came in a two-tone color combination and its nice to see something different than the colors a, b and c.

Comparing the two two-tones, the red/black combination looks bold. A little more vibrant. A little more on the rebel side. This may or may not match your personality. The black tie looks more gentlemenly, more refined, more diplomatic. This may or may not match your personality.

The Woodward looks sensational out of the showroom, and ok in the showroom. The Black-Tie looks ok out of the showroom but is sensational in the showroom.

I get the same " I did not know they came in black" around here a lot. Most blacks were sold back east. This is even from Chrysler dealers!
