I noticed quite a few Prowler Owners have Harleys and many of you had your Prowlers delivered, so maybe you could help with some info.

I just bought a 2000 Harley Davidson Night Train. Only one problem. Its in Washington and I am on the other end of the country in New York.

The dealer suggested Allied Van Lines, so I am considering calling them where I bought the bike and having it moved on a truck headed this way. Might be best.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I know many who haul cars also haul bikes, so perhaps someone here can share their knowledge?

Thanks in advance for any assistance here

Hmmm, webmaster, any chance of turning on the email when someone replies to your post option?

Hi Tim
Make sure they crate it properly and there should be no problem. I have had many show bikes hauled with no problem.

Will do. Allied uses skids to tie them down, should be ok. Hey, as a fellow Hog fan, check out a site I am helping a buddy of mine build if you have time:

http://www.harleytimes.com

Its not advertised yet, we are still building the content up. Hope you like what we have done so far.

Thanks, we hope to have our own screensaver up their soon, lots of other content. Anyway, thanks everyone for the input. I found Allied Van Lines can pick up the bike as soon as Tuesday if I call by Monday at noon central time. Cool because the dealer said they use them quite a bit, so should be ok
