It's such a joy to drive compared to most classics. Good on gas, modern comforts, dependable and not much to rust on her. It even smells great inside. I would still love to add a 34 Ford (glass rod with modern features) to the fleet though. Here's the one I'm negotiating on: This message has been edited by beachcat on 06-02-2012 at 09:29 AM It's such a joy to drive compared to most classics. Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche. Shortly thereafter I began to transform it more to my liking. After quite a few thousand dollars, I'm almost there. Next modification is to get fatter rear tires (drag radials) on 17" wheels all around. There is no car that I would trade for my Prowler. IMO the Prowler has no peers. There may be better cars, i.e., faster, more luxurious, more plush, better handling; but, none is a ProwlerNRVOUS The car you sold to buy your Prowler, your Prowler, and what car you think would make you sell your Prowler. I'll start
Resent Past 2009 Challenger R/T
Present 1999 Plymouth Prowler
Future 1957 Chevrolet Corvette (once the house is paid off)
beachcat I traded a couple of jet skis to help finance the prowler. I hope to never sell it. NRVOUS Always loved the 34 Fords, and that one looks sweet. I too will probably keep the Prowler it doesn't owe me much and I get so much enjoyment from her. I'd love to see the 57 Corvette next to the Prower. I guess time will tell. quote:

CJ - The One and Only
1999 Black - PPROWLR
2002 Deep Candy Red - CJPROWLN
2002 Black California Kid Prowler - CAL KIDBeWare Nothing was sold to buy our Prowler. Though there are other cars that I would desire to own I just don't ever see me trading or selling the Prowler to buy something else. Dave Mills I did not sell anything when I bought the Prowler. I do not have any plans to sell the Prowler and since my wife tells me I must sell something to buy anything else, I guess I am stuck with what I have. Terry I bought my Prowler without trading/selling anything. I had been wanting one from the first day I saw the 1997 Prowler. Shortly after my divorce, I saw my new love at a Chrysler dealership, and purchased the Prowler that the owner of the dealership owned. I was looking for a red Prowler and saw the 1999 yellow Prowler: and had to have it.
