Vey tastefully done. One of the better looking cars that I've seen. I'm so happy to hear that everything went well during the shipping process. I'm sure you will enjoy the car and I know that Mike would be very pleased with the outcome. That special car could not have found a better home. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Best regards, Kees ------------------ Best regards, Kees Yes, the bumpers do not effect the airbag system. You can order them now at IntroWheels , Tires are Nitto NT555, 225/35R19 front and 285/35R22 rear.condor My new burned-orange KAT made it safe from California to Germany.
Here is a short story.
At first thanks to Larry Lord, who made the deal happend and supported my during the hole operation.
In January I picked up the Prowler with only 4800miles on the speedo in LA and drove it to the SF Bay Area. I catched a sand storm and some snow flake on the way, it was not a fun trip.
In Pleasanton, I could store the Prowler for some month at the Goodguys Headquarter, Gary Meadors made this happend. I was thinking about some mods on the KAT and ask guys like Marc Meadors,Herb Martinez & Fred Zimmerman (DanvilleDukes), about my ideas. Foose and Intro were also involed. Marc Meadors know INTRO Wheels well, they produce also some Foose wheels.
So, Marc talked to Lynn from introwheels.com, and they custom made a set of Rims for the Prowler. Prowler-Products-by-Gary delivered a Belly Pan, Mills the turn-signal kit and the ProwlerStore the chrom-covers. I had at this point no time to do something, because I had to fly home to Germany .
Herb Martinez, the farmouse Pinstripe - Line Doctor (herbmartinez.com) made the hole organization, so thanks again to him. ( He stripes Prowler very well too )
The livermorecollisioncenter.com/ got involved, they did the Belly Pan operation, modified the exhaust and put a perfect paint on the Belly. Rynck Tire and Auto Center delivered the
225/35 R19 and 285/35R22 Nitto Tires.
So, in the 3 month , or better during my stay in Frankfurt, Germany, the Prowler went to a lot of changes.
I came back to Livermore, CA last week of march. The Prowler went at this time to the local Chrysler dealer for service, they put ceramic brakes and new Koni Shocks in (one was leeking). The Prowler Project got just finished in time for the Goodguys-All-American-Get-Togehter show. I had lots of fun at the show, Sundays I was the - only Prowler- at the show, with over 3000 registered Hot Rods, Classics and MucleCars. First week of april the Prowler got shipped from Oakland to Bremen, Germany in a large Container. 6 weeks later the "Freight" arrived at the harbor in Germany. The Interfracht shipping company delivered the Prowler to my housedoor, after I payed a bit over
$ 14.000 for shipping, handling and import taxes. I was very happy, because the Prowler arrived without any damages, clean and still with the tank full of gas !
Now I´m preparing for the Euro Registration. I will be a bit of work (put orange rear blinker, rear & foglights on and a lot of other small things to to)
