Tom, I just took it in Switzerland a week ago. It looked great but he said he had to do some work to get it where he wanted it.

It’s really hard to believe that it’s taking me this long to get to this point, but today I just paid the bill for the second to the last phase of this journey for the M&L Delivery Top. The top fabrication is done, hinges are in, and the latch is complete. It opens, closes and latches perfectly. Used the existing latch mechanism so the button and pull wire still function, as does the chime alert when open. We decided against the gas shock because of the problems it is causing no matter what we tried. Now we know why that was such a problem originally for this top and well as what other owners have said. The hatch it so light so went with old-school Corvette ratcheting hood lift. Are still going to try a power lift and closer later. Next week she moves to the Dealership for timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses and tune up. Then back down the road to Chaotic Customs for the final phase -paint. I think we have decided on the colors and scheme with the painter that will best complement the lines of the car and top, hope it works!!! That part will stay under wraps for now!

For all of you all that have commented on this particular thread over the years, you are all accomplices to this madness !!!
