I just replaced the runflats on the 01 Orange. It has 22,000 miles on it but they felt like they were square. The front ones were shot but the rears looked decent. I can't believe the improved ride, even though I have gone through this with the other ones. It cost about $ 950. I went with the Continental Comfort tires. |

Glad to hear you can`t believe the difference in ride from the run flats - I went against the grain and 99% of the reviews and ordered the Pirellis - 6 week wait period - another 2 or 3 weeks to wait - |

I've been considering the Pirelli's myself but have not yet made the commitment. Let us know what you think of them after a few miles. |

I just had Nitto installed. It's like a brand new car and so much more enjoyable to drive. |

The Nittos are amazing they look like a hot rod tire but even better they feel like you’re riding on a cloud compared to the run flats. The pirellis are a great tire, but they do tend to wear a bit fast. |

One of the things I look at when shopping for tires is the "Treadwear Rating" The higher the number, in theory, the longer the tires should last. The stock Goodyear Eagle RSA EMT tires our cars were fitted with had a rating of around 220 if memory serves. The couple of sizes Goodyear now offer are advertised at 260. Continental Extreme Contact tires have a 560 rating. Nitto 555 G2 tires have a 320 rating. Pirelli P Zero have a 220 rating. Yokahama Advan Sport have a 180 rating. |

Thanks Andria. I was not aware of that. I guess I did good. |
