Monday's main event for the Prowling the Plateau Tour is the roller coaster drive and ride called the 'Tail of the Dragon'.....

Please check out the above web site when you have a few minutes. It provides important safety tips, details, and statistics about this local attraction which attracts people from all over the world!

Safety 1st! Check your air pressure in your tires Sunday night at Weigels. Free Air. Make sure all your fluid levels are up to full and your brakes & tires are in 'good' condition.

Thanks for the post Lou, I have rode the Dragon twice on a motorcycle and the information these folks are providing is 100% accurate. Every curve in this 11 mile stretch is an opportunity for disaster. I urge everyone to read them carefully and take heed to what they say. It will be a beautiful sight to see 30 to 40 Prowlers running up the Dragon but it’ll be tragic to see 2 or 3 of them in a pile in the middle of a curve. Hopefully there will be a video from someone that we will all get to see later but while driving the Dragon, I plan on devoting all of my attention on the drive. Jer

That was actually the first time the POA ran the Dragon. That was Frank and Brandi's Prowler. They drove it home to Florida. . As a group we have run the Dragon many times since.
