As much as I really would love to attend this event, I already have commitments for May 19th, 20th and May 26th thru June 3rd. I'll miss seeing all of you but hope to see some of you at the Chrysler's at Carlile event in July since this year's ECP Maintenance Weekend won't be taking place on it's regularly anticipated weekend. Prowler died today during rush hour and was towed to the Chrysler dealership. I think it's an alternator issue...the same one that was replaced three months ago. I guess rebuilt alternators aren't particularly reliable. |

Gary, Have you ever hosted a party and absolutely no one shows up? First the positive spin. There are 4 or 5 car clubs that organize this and in the six years they have done this, they have raised $100,000 for the retired and disabled Vets that reside there. They have purchased some incredible equipment for the Vets that wasn't in the budget and that they would have had to do without. I met some incredible Men and Women that reside at Charlotte Hall. It was uplifting just to be around them. As far as weather, well it was hotter than a 4 hour cattle line at Disney World in the middle of June. (note to self: get A/C charged in the Prowler.) As far as the cruise well they just do things differently down in Southern Md. It made me appreciate all of the Prowler Cruises I've been a part of. There was no intersection blocking and cars staying together as a group. All I could think of was that incredible cruise from Pigeon Forge to the Biltmore Mansion with over a hundred Prowlers. Wow! I did break rank and blocked a busy intersection and let about 20 Camaro's go their way as a group and that was satisfying But this was about the Vets and to them I say Thank You!
