Okay here we go...after talking with several guys from san antonio and houston area I have decided to host this Kat Kruzin at my next Conroe swapmeet ....We are the 3rd largest swapmeet in Texas with 3 events a year...over 600 vendors and 8-10k spectators across weekend... What I will do is provide a SHOW AREA for up to 30 Kats with or without trailers on Sat Feb 17th..for those that would arrive on Friday i will provide a free meal that we do for all of our pre-registered vendors at 530pm...cars can be left in show area or driven out to return Sat...For those wanting to attend I would send a dash ticket specifically for prowlers so my people would know they are to be in a certain area... Absolutely no charge to you...I have the area to do this already..you will be able to sit by cars and then walk the acres of swapmeet! If weather is not favorable there would be no problem not showing because I have this area available already...but IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO COME i would need a count so we dont short change the show area... So far every Prowler event posted lately is scheduled when I have out of state work to produce.....one of these days I am going to have to retire just to be able to attend some events (or go back to planning another one when I know I can be off like I use to do!  ) |

just as a side note for those who might be making an extended trip...(i know its feb but down here we roll nearly all year)... There is a ton of stuff to do in Houston-Conroe-Galveston area...Beach cruzin..lake cruzin..ball games ...lots of ETC... Hotels are within 3 miles of fairgrounds....any questions just ask...the week of swapmeet i will be extremely busy but will be happy to assist... Like i have discussed with dru...its a win-win for everyone who comes...my spectators will be tickled with an actual show area (everything inside is for sale) with cars they rarely see...and the Kat owners can relax with no charge to come in...and walk acres of swapmeet if they choose..Jim |

So far we have 17 who have asked for dash passes...Weather holds we should have a nice Kruz-in...And I think Joe (dru) may be trying to get some to go to lunch or dinner... We have lots of places in Conroe area......jim |

Follow up from the weekend...Sat we had am shower and then some of the weirdest temp changes ive ever seen...Keith came in his yellow Kat after sun appeared....Joe came in DD and I was able to give him the grand tour of the grounds....Sorry for everyone mother nature did not cooperate but good news is we will continue to do this at every swapmeet ....So next event is May 18-20Th..weekend AFTER mother's day.. You are welcome to hit me up about any special times you are wanting to attend or anything else....By the way...Keiths car hadn't been parked 10 min...and they were already taking pics....lol....jim |
