On a happier note, today is the first day of the MAIN event after 3 great days at CJ & Bob's preliminary event. It has been really a lot of fun so far. Weather has been superb. The cruises have been delightful and CJ's collection is over the top. A lot of folks got here today so the crowd is growing. I was having some overheating issues and since everyone who owns a Prowler is a mechanic I had lots of advice. I thought it was a bad thermostat, Mike Gatlin said it sounded like a bad radiator cap, he had had the same type of symptoms. I thought it could possibly be the fan wasn't kicking on and a few guys suggested it could be a bad gauge. I stopped and bought a cap and thermostat. Wild Bill assured me it needed to be burped. I thought sounded like about 1 % chance. WildBill carries a clear 1/4 inch tube with him at all times. We bled the system and that was the problem. It took about 30 minutes to get all of the bubbles out of the system. I have no idea how air got in since I have never had an overheating problem on any of the Prowlers. I can smell antifreeze from time to time so it could be a heater core leak letting air into the system. I hope not. Thanks Wild Bill. Great job. |

I can't find the cable to hook to the camera. The car museum today was unreal. Lots of cars I had never even heard of plus a ton of great memorabilia, etc. Hopefully I can post in the near future. Great weather again. Hard to believe it is a POA event. lol |
