These Sway Bar Links or Vertical Stabilizer Links (VSL) are a bolt in replacement for the OEM vertical stabilizer links (Mopar Part # 04786592AB) Item 35 shown below in exploded assembly view. Install Video Are you sick of looking at those rotting, cracked grease fitting covers on your original VSL’s? These VSL’s are a permanent fix over the OEM part. Not to mention these VSL's look better with the aluminum connecting rod that matches the Prowler frame. I have sold over 150 sets of VSL's and all customers have been satisfied. Fits 1997-2002 Plymouth / Chrysler Prowler. The Vertical Stabilizer Links are sold in pairs with easy to install directions (less than 60 min). FREE shipping & handling.

Thanks to Spoons for quick shipment of the VSL's and for taking my call when I couldn't figure something out (Couldn't get the bottom bolts out, just kept spinning - Need a T40 torque bit along with a wrench to remove the original bolt on the bottoms, at least on my early '99 anyway). They look much better and went in easily! Thanks again Brian (Spoons)! |

for the time and effort, Spoons links are the only way to go. They are a permanent repair. |

Those aren't rubber bushing that are deteriorating. They are grease boots that hold the grease to lubricate those top joints. The issue is really cosmetic. You can run with them, as is but presumably the joint will eventually wear out due to lack of grease or dirt getting into the grease. Spoons replacements are the best bet. There is a poor mans mod that you might consider: |
