Hi O Great and Wise Ones, Issue I have is battery life when car is not used. Replaced existing battery with a new one because old one wouldn't hold a charge more than a week. Now the new one is doing the same dang thing. How long "should" the battery hold a charge between startups. Also is it OK to put a master on and off switch on it or would that put to much a load on the CPU going ack and forth. Do have a battery tender to install on it. Advise please and THANKS Jim in TN |

Something is drawing to much current, a new battery should last way longer than 2 weeks. I would and do use battery tender. I think it is much better for computers. You should try and find what is killing battery. What do you have on car that's aftermarket, alarm, horn, lights, radio? |

In this thread there is good info where to check the battery cables. Everyone should check this area regardless. |
