I need some insurance advice....my daughter gets her drivers licence in September......yikes! Currently the prowler is insured with the rest of my daily drivers. According to my agent I can't limit the prowler to be driven by only my wife and I. Would I be better off insuring the prowler separately with Grundy's, Hagerty...etc and getting it off my regular policy? (I need to switch to an agreeded value insurance anyway). My agent can write agreeded insurance, My premium is going to go thru the roof as long as "they" insure the prowler (even though my daughter will never drive it). I'm thinking if I do my own separate policy(Grundy's, AIG, B/J...etc) I could exclude the prowler from the rest and hopefully save some bucks. Any advice would be most appreciated. |

Barrett-Jackson Collector car insurance has been a good choice,,, http://www.elitecollectorcar.com/cvolr/dispatcher.html;jsessionid=028DB5917270BE02F543B35E5D676FF0.cvvm1-pd1?rf=tdc Plus you can also insure it with National Corvette Museum insurance company as well....... Yes, NCM will insure your Prowler and other collector cars,,,I use them > http://ncminsurance.com/ I like the mileage plans with NCM better than the other collector car companies,,JMO |

Steve let us know what BY says, someone posted they weren't insuring Prowler's anymore, but would keep you if you were already there. I use BJ for my 2 Prowler's and my 2 classic cars, price is great, but I 've never had to file a claim. This message has been edited by garysss on 07-15-2018 at 08:36 AM |

My son just turned 16. Insurance checked with the under writers about him driving the family vehicles which he is covered. But they and I agreed that he will not drive the Prowler. I asked if I need a affidavit or fill out a special forum they said No. You might ask them if that would be a option.Plus I need a appraisal done again .It needs to be updated every five years with my insurance compnay and in Canada. Just a heads up. You know insurance companies! They love those loop holes. This message has been edited by robin on 07-16-2018 at 09:40 AM |

Barrett Jackson has all the Prowlers, the Prowler trailers, and all my collector vehicles. I am perfectly happy with them as far as cost but have never had to file a claim. Allstate has my three daily drivers, but I have not tried to add my grandson who is 16 now, he has his own truck so maybe he will leave my stuff alone! |

Well I pulled the trigger with Hagerty's. I checked pricing on my own, but my insurance agent( Farmers Ins) was also able to write Hagerty's with the same coverage and was slightly cheaper.... Hope I never need them, but it sure is a good piece of mind that I'm cover with an "agreeded value". Regards, |
