Going to try to keep my long story short.

I met this group in 2004 by just lurking, then joined in December, then in Jan 2005, I bought my decked out 2001 Silver that had most of the TGF mods installed. Hit and run driver totaled it, but God spared my life in what could have been the end. Found my BlackTie with only 2500 miles on it in Aug 2005.

Life was good. Business was incredible. I became comfortable. It is a blessing to give to people in need and I did not hesitate. (Only saying this to emphasize how easily things can change). Family.. Health... Friends... Poor decisions... We must count our blessings even in the hard times.. NO MATTER WHAT!!!

For a few years, I hardly visited POA or even drove the Prowler. Even started selling some mods that I will never be able to replace just to meet my obligations. During this time, I met the most incredible Lady and now she is my life partner/wife. I love you dearly, Angie.

We closed our printing business after 27 years and starting a couple new adventures. God has kept us and blessed us in many ways and finally we see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is not an oncoming train.

WHY AM I SHARING THIS??? A few simple acts of kindness and understanding and generosity from our Prowler family. A while back, somebody accidentally backed into my grill. The person had no way they could get it fixed for me, so I let it go and was able to make it look pretty good. Transmission cooler cover was destroyed by a Branson event pothole a long time ago.

So many of you/us will go way out of our way to help our Prowler family. Many years we have shared a love and respect for each other and have developed life-long friendships. Thank you my friends.

Over the past few weeks, many of you helped me with parts and advice to get my Prowler back on the road. TODAY, a POA member I have never met or talked to (kapkan59) gave me a grill and tranny cooler cover. How do you thank somebody with this kind of expression of friendship?? The only way we can express our thanks is to be the best we can be and remember that we are ALL God's creation. Sometimes, all we need is a kind word to help us through a hard time.

THANK YOU kapkan59 for blessing us with these parts. We deeply appreciate you.

Bradley,
Thank You for sharing your thoughts with us. I have experienced some similar experiences over the years and agree that in general, the folks associated with this car and site are often the type that one can develop life long friendships with. Most are very easy to know and are generous to a fault.

I recall looking at the new Prowler when it came to a Dealer near me and could only dream of driving such a car. I didn't even consider the possibility of ever actually owning one. As it turns out, my Dad (JeraneW) bought his Black Tie new in 2002 and it offered me a closer look at the car.

In around 2004 or so, a longtime friend bought a 2000 Silver out of Texas through E-Bay of all places. In 2008 circumstances changed for him and he needed to sell the car and asked me to buy it with the idea he could buy it back when he could once again afford it.

Sadly, my friend has not yet arrived to the point where he can once again afford to buy the car back and likely won't so the car remains in my care. I have since made many additional modifications to it in order to make it mine.

Along the way I have been fortunate to meet many other owners by way of the annual vacation events that have been put together and even share a few with my parents which is a blessing I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Dad decided he needed to sell his Black Tie about two years ago even though his health is very good for his age. Now days he has the memories of the car and the folks he has met along the way. POA and many of it's members have had a positive impact in the lives of myself, my parents, and so many others and I appreciate this very much.

While my Prowler is not driven as much as it was when I first purchased it, it does get out from time to time and it still thrills me to own and drive it.

Bradley, Bradley, Bradley. You deserve all that you have received. For you newer folks, Brad furnished name tags for quite a few events. He made the trim match the color of the owners' cars. They were laminated, printed on both sides, not some cheap little piece of paper. They were first class, all the way. He did not charge anyone for them. First class, indeed.
On the flip side, he did make fun of me several times on the name tags so I can never forgive him. lol
You paid it forward, you got repaid. You were just lucky I wasn't up early this morning or I would have aced you out of the items. lol

Brad,,Thanks again for traveling with Cousin Tami, Lethia (RIP), and I on our adventure to the rain plagued Louisville National Prowler event......and for just being a quality, good guy! Your Prowler event name badges were always 'first class'

We are so lucky to have so many friends all over the world. That would not have happened had we not bought the Prowlers. Prowler owners are the best!!!

Brad, you have done a lot for me with the events I've done and I truly appreciated that. Thank you!!

This post is exactly what I am talking about.

We have made friends here that will last a lifetime. We may not see each other for years, but continue right where we left off the last time we were together.

Whatever our status in life, even some of us whom have never met, we all have respect to reach out to help our Prowler Family.

Your replies brought smiles to me of fond memories that cannot be relived. Also tears as I reflect on the fun times with so many that can no longer Prowl with us. RIP.
