Next, a squirrel enters onto the race track as drivers swerve to avoid hitting the animal: . http://twitter.com/IndyCar/status/1002579148215382016 For today's start of the race, could anything worse happen? Yes,,, on the pace lap a GM executive (Mark Reuss) driving a new C7 Corvette ZR1,, rounds a turn leading the field of Indy race cars....and the pace car driver looses control and smaches the Corvette pace car into the wall Race cars had to stop, and the start of the race on 'hold'... Started again 35 minutes later
