I am posting this because it really moved me. I have posted (not enough recently) on this forum how much I love my wife Linda. The older we get the more precious our time together becomes. I cannot imagine my life without her. The words that this person posted along with this photo are better said than I ever could.
February 14 at 2:05pm · Corpus Christi, TX · You know? We are all guilty of taking our other half for granted from time to time. We may forget to give a goodbye kiss, say I love you or just be so caught up in what we are doing at the moment that we don't notice the very little things that mean so much to our special someone. Please love your Sweetheart while you have the opportunity, you never know what tomorrow will bring or take away! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10156170080966340&set=a.455681451339 .237503.765586339&type=3 This message has been edited by BeWare on 02-16-2018 at 09:24 AM |

You're so right, Rich....Having a loving spouse is the greatest gift that God gives to us. March 30th will mark the 16th anniversary of my beloved wife's passing. We were high school sweethearts and married when she was just 17 and I was 18. We were NEVER apart for 37 years until she died in my arms of cancer at the age of only 54. I never re-married and still look at her picture every day. I am 71 years old and look forward to being with her in Heaven. When my grandson was 8 years old I saw him looking closely at his Mamaw's picture...He looked up at me and asked "Papaw, what will we look like when we get to heaven?" .....I think the little guy was afraid that he wouldn't recognize his Mamaw if she was an angel.
And I am a Pauper" This message has been edited by bjprowler on 02-16-2018 at 10:27 AM |

I cherish everyday with my girl. The picture at the table broke my heart. I ask my father-in-law once, about 15 years after my mother-in-laws passing, why he remained alone. His reply was “After you’ve had the best you don’t want the rest”. After 39 years of marriage I know exactly what he meant. Jer |
