‘Fox & Friends’: Trump ‘Outsmarted’ by Omarosa

Host Brian Kilmeade apparently went after Trump’s intelligence after the president fell into the trap of promoting another hostile book about his character.

President Donald Trump was mocked by one of his favorite TV shows Wednesday morning when the hosts of Fox & Friends criticized him for his foolish handling of the Omarosa Manigault-Newman book launch.

Trump is known to be an avid viewer of the show but it’s not yet clear if he began his Wednesday morning being chided to his face.

Commenting on the public showdown between the president and his former White House adviser, host Brian Kilmeade said it was obvious who was getting the upper hand.

“In order to sell a book, [Omarosa has] come out with a series of tapes and in many ways seems to have outsmarted the president who has taken the bait and gone out and tweeted directly at her,” Kilmeade said.

The host’s choice of words is likely to have gone down particularly badly with the president, since he is often keen to boast about his own intelligence and suggest he is capable of easily outsmarting his rivals.

Kilmeade went on to suggest that Trump was not even smart enough to have learned from his past mistakes.

“After the president came out and gave Michael Wolff millions of dollars by going after his book he seems to be doing the same thing with Omarosa’s book,” he said.
Wolff publicly thanked Trump for making his book, Fire and Fury, a worldwide bestseller. The book claimed that Trump was mentally “incapable of functioning in his job.”

Kilmeade has become the most rebellious of the Fox & Friends hosts, hitting the president for one of his “ridiculous” Russia tweets and criticizing his handling of the NFL protests.

This time, fellow host Ainsley Earhardt backed him up with evidence that Trump’s savage tweets about his longtime Apprentice and White House colleague Omarosa had dominated the news agenda Tuesday.

She did partially excuse the president by blaming the media.
“Sarah Huckabee Sanders was forced to answer questions about this,” Earhardt said. “A few questions about Afghanistan, China, South America, ISIS, Muller, and Turkey but the majority, like four times the amount of questions were about Omarosa. The media is obsessed with it.”

The explosion in interest from the media was not prompted by the book’s Tuesday launch day but by Trump’s attack on his former charge as a “crazed” “lowlife” “dog.”

Sanders insisted that labeling Manigault-Newman a dog was “nothing to do with race,” but she said she was unable “to guarantee” that a tape showing Trump using the n-word would not one day emerge.

The book, Unhinged, describes Trump as a racist and a bigot.

Poor Tomcal, you just don't get it yet .... while Trump tweets on these things that drive the fake biased media into a frenzy, they snarl and chase the ball while Trump is appointing conservative judges (doesn't make the news), implementing policy that benefits Americans (doesn't make the news) and works to Make America Great Again (despite Cuomo stating it NEVER was great) all without so much as a favorable peep from the bias fake news.

Wonder how Omorosa will spend the book money from prison?

'Shut the f**k up, a**hole,’ snarled Omarosa Manigault-Newman at me. ‘How are your kids going to feel when they wake up and discover their dad’s a f**king f*gg*t?’

Yes, this is the same Omarosa Manigault-Newman who just spent a year inside Donald Trump’s White House.

I’ve met a lot of vile human beings in my life, from dictators and terrorists to sex abusers and wicked conmen.

But I’ve never met anyone quite so relentlessly loathsome as Omarosa; a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work.

Which beggars the question: what the hell was she doing inside the world’s most powerful building for 12 months?

The answer, as we can now see, was amassing a whole mass of damaging information to now use against President Trump and his administration on Celebrity Big Brother.

Well duh!

That’s what Omarosa does. It’s her raison d’etre.

This is a woman who would do anything to get what she wants - however shameless and shameful.

I met her a decade ago when we were cast together in the first season of Celebrity Apprentice in 2008.

I knew OF her, obviously.

She’d become America’s most hated reality TV villain after her diabolical performance in the 2004 season of the regular Apprentice.

But nothing quite prepared me for her opening gambit as we waited for the details of the first challenge.

Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously: 'Piers, do you want a showmance?' 'A what?' I replied. 'A showmance. You know, a romance on the show - we get it on together. Happens all the time on Apprentice. Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it.’ I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed: 'You must be joking, you deluded woman.' She didn't take it well. 'What are you? Gay?'

From that moment, she turned on me like a viper.

I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in my life like the disgusting, foul-mouthed, homophobic way Omarosa spat at me throughout the weeks of filming.

Because I’d rejected her revolting sex plot, she decided the best line of attack was to repeatedly question my sexuality in the most crude and offensive manner imaginable.

At the time, I was separated from my ex wife, and mother of three of my four children – a fact Omarosa seized on with glee.

‘The mother of your children hates you Piers,’ she giggled on camera one morning, ‘and your children f**king hate you, they’re embarrassed by you. Is there another man raising your children?’

(None of these things was true)

On another occasion, in front of boxing champion Lennox Lewis, she said: ‘Hey Piers, I hear you got caught sucking a gay waiter’s c*ck in a hotel pool?’

This was a lie. I’m not gay and she hadn’t heard that about me. She’d just made it up to smear me and to provoke me into a confrontation.

Eventually, Omarosa took her bigotry to the boardroom, telling Donald Trump accusingly: ‘I think Piers is in the closet.’

‘You’re calling Piers a homosexual?’ replied an incredulous Trump. ‘I don’t think you know him very well.’

He then invited me to come back into the boardroom and respond. So I did, bursting through the doors, racing towards Omarosa, then veering away at the last minute to kiss Trace Adkins, a 6ft 7in country singer, with the words: ‘I’ve always loved a beautiful cowboy.’

Trump laughed, everyone laughed – well apart from Trace, who just looked bemused.

Beneath the laughs though lay a less savoury truth: Omarosa is a reprehensible human being, prepared to offer sex to win a reality TV show and use the most vile homophobic slurs against rival contestants.

She did all this purely so it would bring her more airtime, and more attention

When I grew angry at the tidal wave of verbal filth like this, using my then young sons as a weapon, she threatened me with physical violence: ‘‘Touch me, you’re going to get punched in the face.’

CNN's April Ryan slams Omarosa: 'She stabbed in the back, the neck, the eyeballs'

By Brian Flood | Fox News

CNN’s April Ryan said Omarosa Manigault Newman stabbed her in the back and attempted to end her career when their once-friendly relationship soured.

“It was really ugly. It was so ugly,” Ryan said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Karen Hunter Show” on Tuesday.

Manigault Newman has been on a media blitz in support of her new book, “Unhinged,” and she has played various secret recordings of Trump and his staffers that she said were collected during her time working in the White House.

Ryan was on “The Karen Hunter Show” to promote her own book when she was asked if there was a section on Manigault Newman -- whom she considered a friend before the former Trump aide turned on her.

"I talk about her taping me. I warned everybody. I talk about her taping me. We had that fight between the Oval Office and the press office,” Ryan said. “It probably stemmed from the fact that she was very upset with me because I ...wouldn't be in her wedding and people were telling me she was very upset that I chose not to be in her wedding.”

The CNN contributor said that in addition to the wedding party beef, Manigault Newman turned on her in order to help Trump go after the media.

“She stabbed in the back, the neck, the eyeballs and in the front. She tried to cut my head off and put it on a platter and serve it up to Donald Trump,” Ryan told Hunter.

The feud between Ryan and Manigault Newman goes back to at least February of last year, when The Washington Post published a story headlined, “‘This is . . . Nixonian’: Reporter was taped by White House in heated exchange”. The Post’s Paul Farhi wrote that Ryan then claimed Manigault Newman said the CNN political analyst “was among a handful of journalists on whom the White House was keeping ‘dossiers’ of negative information.”

At the time, Manigault Newman called Ryan a “liar” and admitted to having a tape, while Ryan said she was considering legal action regarding the recording.

Ryan -- she's White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, in addition to her gig at CNN -- then told the SiriusXM host that Manigault Newman attempted to spread lies about her relationship to Hillary Clinton.

“I was very upset about that and we'll take care of what she said and the lies that she was spreading that is career-ending and I was doing this for about 20 years, when she did this,” Ryan said. “She said I was taking money from Hillary Clinton. I said, ‘Are you kidding me?’”

The Post also reported that Manigault Newman sent Ryan a note citing an unnamed story that tied her to Clinton.

“This story suggests that as a reporter, you are (or were) a paid Clinton surrogate. I pray this is not true! This could be hurtful to your legacy and the integrity of your work,” Manigault Newman reportedly wrote to Ryan at the time.

Ryan told the radio host that Manigault Newman wanted to “kill” her career, and that the truth could be easily proven.

“Now, here I am, a divorced single mother of two girls who works hard, and it's not just about taking food off my table. You are hurting my children. I'm a fierce mama bear. She lied on me,” Ryan said.

Ryan also claimed that Manigault Newman urged Trump's former press secretary, Sean Spicer, not to call on her during White House briefings.

Manigault Newman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Katrina Pierson: I Feel Sorry For "Desperate" Omarosa, Her Book is Obviously "Trash For Cash"

Posted By Ian Schwartz
On Date August 14, 2018

Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson appeared on FOX News last night and denied the existence of a Trump "n-word tape" and said former Trump administration official Omarosa is "desperate for money."

"That did not happen. It sounds like she's writing a script for a movie. I've already been out there talking about this. That is absolutely not true. I have no sources with that tape. I have no connections to anyone at Celebrity Apprentice, other than Omarosa," Pierson said.

Pierson said she feels sorry that Omarosa "had to buy a fake wedding ring" when she got married.

"I'm really not going to be angry about this," she said. "Clearly, Omarosa is in a very desperate situation. I really do feel sorry for her. This is obviously trash for cash. I was really concerned with Omarosa when she got married, when she had to buy a fake wedding ring. So I do feel sorry for her."

"But I will not stand by and allow her to continue to tarnish everyone's reputation and hurt the one person that helped her become who she is in that celebrity world," she added.

Lynne Patton, the Trump confidant and administration official named by Omarosa, put out a statement which said there is no n-word tape. She also wrote she did not participate in a crisis management conference call with Pierson to deal with said n-word tape. Patton said she is disappointed and disgusted with Omarosa.

Trump also denied the existence of any such tapes and called himself a "true champion of civil rights" in a series of tweets late Monday night.

ED HENRY, FOX NEWS: Here now to respond to these latest claims from Omarosa Manigault-Newman and maybe reveal some new information of her own, the former spokesman for the 2016 Trump campaign, current senior advisor to his 2020 reelect campaign, Katrina Pierson. She is quoted or perhaps she'll say misquoted in Omarosa's new book. Good evening, Katrina.

KATRINA PIERSON, THE FORMER SPOKESMAN FOR THE 2016 TRUMP CAMPAIGN: Good evening, thanks for having me.

HENRY: All right. I appreciate you being here. A lot to impact. Let me start first with a quote from the book, so we can get it from you directly about whether this is true or not.

In the book, Omarosa says "Katrina had heard from her sources that the tape was of Trump using the N-word. Someone she knew, who knew political strategist Frank Luntz told her, that Luntz had heard it. Lynne, as in Lynne Patton, the longtime Trump aide, reported she asked Trump about it on the plane, specifically whether it was possible such a tape might exist and he said no. Then she, Katrina asked then what he wanted her to do and he said, put it to bed. Katrina cursed and said, he said it." Did that happen?

PIERSON: No, Ed. That did not happen. It sounds like she's writing a script for a movie.

I've already been out there talking about this. That is absolutely not true. I have no sources with that tape. I have no connections to anyone at Celebrity Apprentice, other than Omarosa.

And in fact, she was the only one that brought this tape up. People that I've checked with, who she's mentioned have no idea what she's talking about.

But you know what, Ed, I'm really not going to be angry about this. Clearly, Omarosa is in a very desperate situation. I really do feel sorry for her. This is obviously trash for cash. I was really concerned with Omarosa when she got married, when she had to buy a fake wedding ring. So I do feel sorry for her.

But I will not stand by and allow her to continue to tarnish everyone's reputation and hurt the one person that helped her become who she is in that celebrity world.

HENRY: OK. We gave you a chance to respond. I want to get to the new information. But first, I want to be clear, you've been around the president during the campaign, since the campaign, since he was elected president. Have you ever heard him use the N-word, any sort of racial slur?

PIERSON: Absolutely not. The answer is no. In fact, the president and his family have been nothing but kind, generous, and respectful to myself and everybody else that I know of color.

HENRY: OK. Now, let's get to the new info. I mentioned Lynne Patton, a longtime Trump aide, going back to his business dealings. I believe she had been working at the housing and urban development. She's a longtime Trump advisor, inside and outside the government. I understand she's putting out a statement this hour that is refuting these claims. Can you tell us about that?

PIERSON: Oh, absolutely. Look, as I mentioned, Omarosa was the source of this tape, she was concerned trolling this tape since the latter part of the campaign. In my opinion, as a tool of manipulation of those around her. And she has been mentioning Lynne Patton's name over the last couple of days on her melodramatic interviews as someone who could actually corroborate what she was saying.

And in effect, Lynne Patton has released a statement this evening and she's given an exclusive --

HENRY: And what is she saying?

PIERSON: And that is now running in The Huffington Post, who says that that is simply not true. But more importantly, Ed, it's a timeline.

The reason why Omarosa is facing a wrath of contradiction is because she can't keep her lie straight. She has gone out there and said that she has not heard the tapes until after her book was finalized. What everyone didn't know and that what Lynne Patton is announcing tonight --

HENRY: That's Lynne Patton right there. I understand. I just want to be clear. Pardon me. One second. Lynne Patton is now saying tonight that on December 12th at 11:30 p.m., she's being very specific, 2017, 11:30 p.m., and a phone call she says, Omarosa told her then that she had heard the tape where the president allegedly said the N-word.

Significant because now in recent days, Omarosa has said she had not heard it until after writing her book. December 12th, 2017, she hadn't written the book and she was still in the White House. That is a big contradiction, is that what you're understanding tonight?

PIERSON: It's a major contradiction. And it's a bombshell, Ed, because two days after that, on December 14th, she went on an ABC News interview defending the president, saying, "That he is not a racist."

So how could that be possible if she heard the tape already, that she's using as her excuse to change her tone with the president?

HENRY: Another quick point I want to make. Mark Burnett, a top -- one of the creators, obviously, of The Apprentice. The president tweeted tonight that Mark Burnett called him and said, no such tape exists. Beyond that, Omarosa today was out there on MSNBC and maybe elsewhere saying that Bill Pruitt, another producer on The Apprentice is corroborating her story. I understand you have a different story tonight.

PIERSON: Yes. Bill Pruitt was the producer of seasons one and two, where she is claiming that this apparently took place. She also told Lynne Patton that bill Pruitt was her original source of the tape, and Lynne Patton spoke with Bill this evening and is announcing that that is simply not true. And as I suspected, all along, this tape does not exist. Omarosa is just desperate for money.

HENRY: All right. Last question, you are at her wedding. There are photos of you online having fun with Omarosa. I know people, friends, and then they break up, and the president hired her well over $100,000 a year in taxpayer money inside the White House. The president in the campaign he was going to hire the best and the brightest, that he was a business name, there you are at the wedding. He's had problems now with Michael Cohen as well.

A big picture here, you're going after Omarosa hard and attacking her. But
the fact of the matter is --

PIERSON: I'm not attacking her, I'm stating the facts --

HENRY: Well, you talked about her ring --

PIERSON: I did feel sorry for her.

HENRY: You said it was trash for cash. And so I want to be clear. You've been friends with her and the president hired her to a sensitive White House post, being paid almost $200,000 a year in taxpayer money. That was a mistake, wasn't it?

PIERSON: Well, no. The president has no control over the decisions that other people make. He simply gave individuals an opportunity to achieve greatness. She could have been out there championing here community with a prison reform and everything the president is doing for the black community. But she chose to go a different route. The president is not responsible for other's reactions.

Black Americans aren't buying Omarosa's turn against Trump

For years, Omarosa Manigault Newman stood at Donald Trump's side, making her deeply unpopular with African-Americans who see her as a sellout for aligning herself with a president who has hurled one insult after another at black people.

Her falling out with Trump and her decision to call him a racist as she sells her new book ¡ª and in turn, his calling her a "dog" ¡ª have not been enough for many African-Americans to invite her back to the family picnic.

Too little, too late, many said

"Her tell-all mea culpa won't win her any brownie points with most blacks," said Earl Ofari Hutchinson, author of the book "Why Black Lives Do Matter." ''Their loathing of Omarosa is virtually frozen in stone. She's still roundly lambasted as a two-bit opportunist, a racial sellout and an ego driven hustler."

Few in the black community immediately rushed to defend Manigault Newman after she wrote a book titled "Unhinged" about her time in the White House. It paints a damning picture of Trump, claiming without evidence that tapes exist of him using the N-word as he filmed "The Apprentice" reality series, on which she co-starred.

She has since stepped up her attacks on Trump as she promotes her book, telling The Associated Press on Tuesday that the president is "a racist, a misogynist, a bigot."

"I want to see this nation united as opposed to divided," she said. "I don't want to see a race war, as Donald Trump does."

The deep hostility that African-Americans harbor for Manigault Newman stems largely from her defense of the president or her public silence as he repeatedly attacked the American citizenship of former President Barack Obama; insulted various minority groups and described some African nations as "shithole" countries. He has also insulted prominent blacks like U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters and NBA superstar LeBron James, said that "many sides" are to blame for the violence at last year's white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and ripped African-American athletes for protesting racial injustice.

As the highest-profile African-American on the White House staff, she pushed back on accusations that Trump was racist. She once told PBS' "Frontline," ''Every critic, every detractor will have to bow down under President Trump."

In the book, Manigault Newman suggests she joined Trump's campaign ¡ª despite the misgivings she said she had about her longtime friend and mentor ¡ª after an arrangement to join Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign fell through and left her feeling spurned.

She writes that Trump and his campaign were "eager for my help" and she wanted to experience working on a campaign at a "high level." And, "since Trump had little chance of winning, it would be 'no harm, no foul' for me to have worked with the campaign for however long it lasted," she wrote.

She now says he "used" her, calling him a "con" who "has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities" but is "truly a racist."

Trump ratcheted up his rhetoric against Manigault Newman on Tuesday. "When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out," Trump said. "Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!" John Kelly is the White House chief of staff.

John Kelly is the White House chief of staff.

Many condemned the president and his repeated attempts to compare minorities with animals, but there was little defense of Manigault Newman ¡ª unlike when Trump attacked NBA superstar LeBron James in recent weeks.

"We should not mistake anything that has happened here as to be Omarosa in any way purporting be a benefit to the African-American community," said Aisha Moodie-Mills, a Democratic strategist.

More than 8 in 10 blacks said they thought Trump was racist in a February poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. More than 9 in 10 of African-Americans disapproved of how Trump is handling his job as president.

Manigault Newman has been associated with Trump for more than a decade.

Minimal association with Trump, like taking a photograph with the president in the Oval Office, was enough for protesters to decry Historically Black Colleges and University presidents on their own campuses last year. Black ministers who met with Trump are being criticized by their colleagues and some by their congregations. Among the criticized is Darrell Scott, an African-American pastor from Ohio who declared "This is probably going be ... the most pro-black president that we've had in our lifetime."

Raynard Jackson, a black Republican who has worked on GOP presidential, gubernatorial and local campaigns, said Manigault Newman secretly recording Trump and other White House officials will make her a pariah in conservative circles as well.

"There is absolutely no way she can redeem herself. Who is going to trust her ever again?" Jackson said. "Recording someone under these circumstances is the political equivalent of spitting on a man."

Conservative commentator Armstrong Williams said he's known Manigault Newman since she was 19 and will always consider her a friend. But "Omarosa can't be trusted," he said. "There's an issue when you can't be trusted and can't be loyal."

As her feud with Trump intensified, Manigault Newman's relationship with the black community became the topic of many conversations among African-Americans, especially on social media. Some offered hope for Manigault Newman, however conditional.

If Omarosa "is the one to get some traction on people seeing how truly raggedy this administration is enough to take action... we should reconsider letting her get a to-go plate from the cookout. Someone can take it to her," tweeted Bari A. Williams, an Oakland lawyer and business operations executive.

So bottom line Trump is not the first person to try to help someone only to find (as Piers put it) them to be a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work. And he won't be the last. But at least she will never get away with it again. Her reputation is toast.

At what point do you decide you are desperate enough to play recordings surreptitiously made?

You absolutely extinguish any credibility as soon as you offer them up. Sure! CNN will think you are wonderful, for 5 minutes, once they use you and then no one will every trust you with anything ever again! They would be stupid to do so! You actually made secret recordings in the Oval Office? Yes that was intelligent ! And then you confess that you actually made them? Stupid move #2!

Is she the bitch that kept bringing up her dead husband on the apprentice? Even if she wasnt I remember she was a phuckin #unt on the show .
