Just leavin the Smokies (sorry Lou didn't quite make it up to you) Spent 5 days in Andrew N.C..For those of you who havent seen this area thought I would give you a preview of some unbelievable country...these shots are mostly on top of the great smoky mountain national park...For those looking for something on Lou's "laidback day" a trip over to gatlinburg then over to Cherokee and back thru Tail of Dragon would be quite an adventure...but even just part of this all the way back to Lou's area is great....   |

all of these pics were from right on side of road...and for those that think like i did that the gatlinburg fires had done this forest in....NEGATIVE....Look at very top of this pic...that's all u see...upper pines burned but hardwood still gleaming...lol

forgot about the passenger train in bryson city....great 5 hr trip... I tell u Lou....October is going to be great for this...Deciding soon if were coming...this trip may have made up my mind....especially when we saw corvettes,motorcycles,and many others rollin thru the hills.....
