If you have suffered a ball joint failure, please post here with year, mileage, and original or replacement ball joint. I have not see much info with regard to mileage. |

Mine failed after the recall replacement back in about 2006 with about 30,000 miles after the replacement work had been done. The factory originals were at about 90,000 miles when the recall work was done. This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 06-07-2018 at 09:44 AM |

LARY, I never even looked at mine until it failed. I suggest that you inspect them. Mine were obviously bad and I should have looked at them before the failure.

2011 9,000 miles had too much play, replaced by dealer under warranty. Found again in 2016 17,000 miles had play again. Again replacer by dealer under warranty. Never came completely apart , but had over 1/16 inch up & down play . Don a Vee jeep covered both repairs under the recall |
