My lower front ball joint popped out. Recall refuses to repair the ball joint that popped out because of the previous owner had it already replaced back in 2003. Now I'm looking for a ball joint lower right front. If you have a spare let me know.

Godfather..... unfortunately I don't have a spare to offer.

You should send an email to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration;
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/

Complaint form is shown after scrolling down a bit.

Tell them you had recall done and ball joint failed again. Also mention you feel recalled ball joint did not rectify problem and a safety issue still exists.

Mention that Chrysler/Fiat is not providing replacement ball joints and thousand of Prowler's are still on the road with defective recalled ball joints.

That Chrysler/Fiat has refused to replace your recall ball joint even though it failed again. (very important statement)

End by saying you request they look into this continuing safety matter.

Perhaps, NHTSA will make an inquiry to Chrysler/Fiat that will shake them up and prod them to continue producing ball joints.

The more they hear from Prowler owners the more likely they are to do something.

Can't hurt to try.

Good advice. I also think every Prowler owner ought to go to his or her dealer and attempt to order a spare. It might light a fire under them if they perceive a demand.

I don't doubt in the least they kill Chrysler. They've been actively trying to sell it for some time. with no luck.

Jeep and RAM will remain.

Dodge, Jeep, Ram. Chrysler only has two models...Pacifica minivan and 300 sedan.
