So I have forwarded richnew's pics of his fantastic sub / waterfall to Ken Romain and Ocprowler parts to see if they are interested in making something of the sort.

An 8" dual voice coil shallow sub is fairly inexpensive . Pioneer has one for 79$ but you can certainly spend more. These would be same impeadance as the stock sub so it would match up to stock amplifier .

How many would be interested?

Yes please! The sound system in my prowler is in need of a upgrade, all still original. Beautifully made waterfall, count me in. Don’t forget the custom bezel around the Touchscreen radio.

We are working on it.
It would be more like our original Waterfall, with the center built out to accommodate the sub woofer.
I'll keep you informed of our progress.

I'm in
Red will look great in my Woodward

What happens to the existing speakers located in that giant sub woofer box?

Please tell me that sub woofer box is no longer needed!

Just my 2 cents.... You will definitely need the small rear speakers cut into it (Trust me as I did a world of trial and error for mine)... That said, you don't need the 6 1/2 like mine.. Its way over-kill... 3 1/2 or 4" will do just fine... No rear small speakers sound ok if at a stop or slow speed but with the top down and moving you will need the rear speakers... All-in.. Nice job Ken.. Looks awesome...

one more thing... The center sub will help out tremendously for the over-all sound... Much depends on ones listening taste.... For myself, it still fell a bit short of what I was looking for so I also installed a low profile 12" sub under the trunk (Yes it will fit) and is installed in a separate low profile sub box for easy in and out... The system as is has the neighbors complaining so I got it right... For me, tight, powerful bass at hwy speeds with the top down is a pretty awesome thing...

I'm also interested, but only if it is exactly (3 speakers) like Rich's creation.

I second Largent's question... Does it replace the original speaker box or does it just sit on top of it?
