We NEED some people to step up and undertake the chore. My advice is if you are in charge, BE in charge but get 4 or 5 people you can rely on and let them be in charge TOTALLY for one day. You need some dependable folks and then trust them to line something up.
WallyGator, Steve Clark, Tracey u00JTS2 and others took care of a day for me in Gatlinburg, Shipshewana and other events. You can oversee the big picture and trust them to take care of the smaller details for their day. Laddie, GaryMD, ChickenMan, Marty and on and on all have helped immensely and have run their own events, also. There are tons of good and capable people that are willing to help.
Upstate N.Y. would be a great place to see. Lots of open road, great scenery, etc. You need a local that knows where to go and what to see. We haven't been to a BAD Prowler event yet and we have been to at least 75 of them. They don't have to be non-stop, a break in there after a long travel day is nice. Sitting around talking to folks is a high point. Don't be afraid to fail, you won't, everyone will have fun.

...how many would be interested in another "Nursing Home Nationals", we had 7 very successful events.....I might do one more this year or next

We went to three Nursing Home Nationals, and a good time was had by all.

I have some ideas for an event here in Michigan but I still have a lot of planning to do. Don't want to give away too much as it is just ideas that may not all work out, but more to come. It would be an all-types-of-cars event, not necessarily just Prowlers. As more is figured out I will pass it on....
