For those that attended the 20th anniversary event and toured the Stahl Museum, I have sad news. The very old gentleman with the walker that answered many questions for visitors has passed away. from the Museum quarterly newsletter: Gene Skowronski "On August 11, 2017, we lost a wonderful, knowledgeable man. Gene was known as “The Answer Man” and you could always find him smiling in the first aisle of the museum. Over the years, visitors came to rely on Gene and often stopped in to see him, not just the cars. His family Gene will be deeply missed by all of us here at Stahls." Gene was my uncle. He had a wealth of knowledge about cars that amazed me everyday I was with him. His wife Margaret, my dad's sister, passed away 10 years ago. He was lost without Margaret, but when he got the job at Stahls, his life had meaning again. Thanks Bob for letting everyone know. |

Pat, Mary Anne and I are sorry to hear about your Uncle. It was a pleasure meeting him at the museum. I’m glad that he had his dream job, you could tell he loved what he was doing. Jer |

Was he the guy who walked out to the parking lot as we were leaving? Extremely nice guy. |

Here is a picture of Gene getting his first ride in a Prowler. He had a big grin on his face the whole time. |
