Don't know if any of the owners (except probably Larry Bell) will be attending the Dream Cruise this year. We drove down Woodward late yesterday afternoon and was surprised that there were not many cars out cruising! Usually, it starts the weekend before the Dream Cruise Saturday and runs all week. The epicenter of the Dream Cruise has always been on Woodward and 13 Mile Road. All of you that attended the 10th Anniversary event can remember how busy it is there. Chrysler, for a long time, occupied that corner (which was a huge parking area with a strip mall). The local hospital purchased all that property and all the businesses are gone. It's all dug up with a tall blue fencing around the entire property. I doubt that you can't even sit on the curb. That parking lot was usually filled with cars during the week before set-up for the Chrysler/Mopar display. It just isn't the same. I don't think it will be the "epicenter" anymore. So sad....... We 'cruised' Woodward Ave on Friday with the Motor City Vipers. They offered us parking and viewing location with the Detroit Area Modern Mopars (DAMM) at Woodward Camera at Emmons Ave (a couple blocks North of 14 Mile Road). On Saturday, Motor City Vipers have reserved space for parking and viewing at the Birmingham Masonic Lodge (just North of Big Beaver on Woodward). I can't speak to the number of cars on Woodward since this was my first time, but I was impressed by the quality and variety of display cars 'cruising' and parked along the road. I'm sure it's busier on Cruise Day, but I enjoyed the experience none-the-less. Good luck to those staying for Saturday. |

I was out on Woodward last night. Plenty crowded and lots to see. Near 14 mile I luckily grabbed a spot in a lot right by the edge of the road, and the Prowler definitely caught some eyes. Many people walking by and most stopped to look. Only saw two other prowlers that night; who had the blue one towing a pedal car during the 20th? Saw it drive by. Also saw a red stock prowler parked. I plan to head out early tomorrow. |

I was out there last night and ran into Pat in her red Prowler. Yes we are offering parking on 12 Mile just west of Woodward if you need a place to park and eat. Just look for my Prowlers or upside down van. I will be doing a lap in the van, depending if the cops stop me and make me get it off the road. Bail money might be needed, keep your phones on as I may only get one call. A $10 donation for parking is all we ask. We are raising money for the American Legion there. |

Amanda and I swung by Jerry's lot this afternoon and spent a few minutes with both Jerry and Bob Bobbis. Good to see old friends. Ran into a couple of Canadian prowler owners from Windsor who were not on POa. Has an orange car with a supercharger. Saw a purple, yellow, and a black during our cruising today. Headed back to the burg tomorrow morning. |

The lot was about 100 yards west of Woodward, either the van or Prowler would of been parked, as I take people out for rides throughout the day. yes it was nice to see, Steve, Amanda, and Bob that day. |
