Attended the 25th Viper Celebration at CAAP yesterday - about 250 Vipers on the lawn, full access to the factory (about 9 cars still in build process and a couple others awaiting delivery), coffee/donuts/goody bag from Dodge, police escort from CAAP to M1 Concourse (mostly on Woodward Ave), free parking and admission to RoadKill nights at M1 with 'legal' drag races on Woodward. Check out the Dodge video here: https://www.facebook.com/DodgeViper/videos/1612037042161366/

Here's a photo of the remaining Prowler on display. We were told that much of the memorabilia from the factory (apparently including some of the display cars) will be auctioned online to benefit charity. Maybe your (last) chance to buy an all new Prowler from the factory?

Sounds like FCA did a great job supporting the Viper owners. Happy for you all. Too bad that they've always turned their backs on Prowler....

FCA did provide a great event for the Viper owners. Too bad we didn't ask for a few Prowler invitations - I suspect they would have accommodated. I was treated kindly at CAAP when I visited with the Prowler in June.

Many early Viper owners were not invited because Viper Concierge never had email addresses for these early owners. I'm sure the same is true for Prowler owners. When I heard about the Viper event on the Viper forums, I sent my '02 Viper VIN to Viper concierge and they added me to the invitation list. A couple Prowlers would have looked good - both in the group picture at CAAP and at the M1 Concourse.

The support of Prowler owners isn't just an issue with FCA, it was also Chrysler and DaimlerChrysler. Prowler was an after thought at the Black Tee event but included because CJ spoke up. The 10th anniversary event would not have happened without Craig Love's support and that's because CJ spoke up again. The CAAP Tribute event at the end of Prowler production would not have happened without CJ. The 20th anniversary event was supported by Craig Love and Chris Theodore without ANY HELP from FCA and again organized by CJ. We contacted senior management at FCA regarding any support for the 20th anniversary event long before the event....silence. The 20th was supported by Mark Trostle and the Design Office because they support the CEMA Car Show each year. They did a very nice poster and dash plaque but again because of CEMA, not Prowler.

We've been supporting the Prowler community from the beginning. Being a Chrysler retiree, I'm very angry that the company has turned it's back on a group of very loyal owners. Prowler was the first Chrysler product that many purchased and it lead to numerous additional purchases. We've helped over 200 people here purchase a Chrysler vehicle with Friends and Family purchase certificates.

I was there with Viper and have seen first hand all of the support that has been given the Viper Nation over the years. I'm very glad to see that but to turn your back on another group of owners is betrayal plain and simple.

Jim, Did you see any of the Prowler hoods or deck lids that Prowler owners signed over the years. The one that I'd most like to see is the one that was signed at the Prowler Tribute event at the plant.

I took a few minutes to look through my photos and don't see any Prowler hoods or deck lids. It will be interesting to see if any of the Prowler items make it to the charity auction.

Please let me know if you hear anything about the auction. I know where the hood and deck lid are from the 10th & 20th. Lost track of the ones signed at the Last Car Party & CAAP Tribute.
