I got these off ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMD-3528-5050-LED-RGB-Flexible-Strip-Light-Waterproof-IR44-IR24-Remote-Power/371386357580?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=640484542490&_trksid=p2057872.m2 749.l2649 I went with these because the IR receiver and remote are very small and not a box like most that I have seen on ebay. Also these are waterproof. Oh...and also they were CHEAP. |

I installed mine today and am VERY happy. Ray supplied everything you need (except a power drill), good instructions, allen wrenches, an odd sized drill bit, etc. Very professionally made. Nicely machined Al. and plastic parts. I guess the screen itself is made of ~ 3/8" Plexiglas. I opted for clear with no logos, etc. Install is easy and in my case I combined it with the install of passenger seat risers meaning I could do the wind suppressor install with the pass seat out making it even easier. Highly recommended product! I'll come back and edit in some performance thoughts once I try it for a few days. Oh - and those black adhesive strips go on last to hide the lower mounting screws. (a bit of a head scratcher). :-) Should probably be careful with cleaning the screen - Things with ammonia in them like 409 and windex are bad... They make special cleaners for plastic. My thanks to Ray for such a wonderfully crafted item. My thanks to Eric for holding up shipping until we got home from our amazing road trip. And my thanks to my friend Robin for putting everything together which made it possible to get one of these windsuppressors, which I thought I wasn't going to be able to get. The last time I inquired about getting one, I was told that Ray had quit making them. When Robin posted that an order of ten would make it possible to get one I jumped at the chance. I stayed busy most of the day finishing putting on my spinners, then I installed the windsuppressor next which was a very easy install except for having to flip the plexiglass around after I realized it was on backwards. Oops. Since my confidence was soaring I decided to go ahead and install my passenger side release button for the "trunk" lid. I'm so happy to say that it works beautifully. I marvel at the geniuses and craftsmen who think up and make all of these wonderful add ons we buy to make our Prowlers even better, you all are truly amazing. I am so thankful I found out about the POA shortly after buying my Prowler, it's members have made our Prowler ownership a true joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Jer |

Good morn, just had a chance to catch up on the latest talk and wanted to say that I purchased the windscreen and the lights I used were bought from Auto Zone and they were 24" with a controller to change the color of the LED and also had a 8' lead which plugged into the cigarette plug with a on/off switch. The easiest installation ever just ran wires under the carpet and up to the plug |

Nice Choice for the windscreen, I am just now catching up on the latest posts, I see where you are looking for lighting. When I installed mine I got the lights with the screen, however they were not so good. I went to Auto Zone and purchased a LED light strip 30" and it came with the controller which changes colors and a 10' power cord with cigarette lighter connection which I ran under the door jamb carpet and snaked over to the console easiest install I have ever done ,,,, Hope you enjoy your addition |
