Does any one know if the Dynamis springs will fit on Koni Shocks ?? and if there is a tool to remove the springs ??? |

Jim .. you sure ask some difficult questions. I would say just a normal spring removal compression tool will work on any shock. Then install Dynamis springs on the koni shock. Look to make sure it seats well in the botton and top.

Thanks Buddy that is good to know .. Now if I can get them off with out killing my self will be the trick .. I had a set of coil spring compressor tool on it today tight them up and they started to bend the 3/4 inch rods while it was compressing the spring so I will need to find some thing better to work with .. I should just leave be but might try something different one more time .. Thanks jim ... |

padroo Thanks -- I think That set might be better than the set I have the outer lip is not as long and might slip by the shock easier when compressed .It is one strong spring to be so small .... Jim |

Just a confidence builder for Mark when he does his rear shocks. A good helper is needed. remove spring...just take to a garage they can remove it for you ..No need for you buy a spring compressor unless you are going into business. clamp the shock in a good vise..... Get a good size monkey wrench.
Then slip a good leverage bar over the end....
once you break it free it will come off easy..... This message has been edited by robin on 04-08-2017 at 06:10 PM |

I had to use a 36" monkey wrench to break the Dynamics loose. |

IF anyone has a spare set of the "Forks" that screw onto the bottom of the rear shocks, I am looking for a pair to have on hand for someday. |
