I'm looking for a Prowler for a project car. Doesn't need to run, have low miles but must be salvageable. Basically a rolling body will do. Of course cars over $10 k are out of the budget but maybe someone will know of a wrecked one not too severely damaged.

HEMI?

For years a friend of mine and I have talked about a SRT4 swap into a Prowler

He has a 2004 SRT 4 stage 3 that has a best run of 11.86 in the 1\4. Better than 30 mpg with the AC running driving to the track.

It is heavier than the Prowler by several hundred pounds

To install a stage 3 SRT 4 cylinder in the Prowler should be easier than a Hemi, lighter than stock and would guess low 12 to high 11 sec 1/4's and maybe better fuel mileage.

Good luck with your project.

An electric Prowler would even be faster in the 1/4 mile.
