Ok, so I've sent the front suspension out for chrome. I'm super excited to get it back. While I have everything torn down I want to replace the front brake rotors and pads. I'm looking for input on which ones to use along with brake pads. I wouldn't even mind going with bigger brakes if you can. The only threads I could find were from some time ago. I hoping that some one has a recommendation on some that will NOT RUST! Thank You in advance and hope to meet some of you at the 20th Anniversary! |

Whatever you do get ceramic brake pads Some have put slotted drilled rotors on As far as big brake, think someone did do a big brake kit on theirs The factory front brakes are from a mini van parts are easy to get in stock form. Rear rotors are a composite use stock parts only unless you by the new steel rotors that someone had made. ------------------ |

Here is a company that says they have drilled and slotted rotors for a Prowler but I have no experience with them. http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/Plymouth/Prowler/111A50530A50533A0A20A1043A1.aspx

Great, thank you for the help. Even if I don't do the big brakes, I still want to do the drilled and slotted. Thanks for the brake pad info! |

Just so everyone knows, AutoAnything is pretty good. I've gotten a ton of stuff off of them for various projects. Pretty much everything is free shipping and it ships out pretty quick. I don't think I've waited more than a few days for anything from them. Just an FYI. They were bought out by AutoZone a year or so ago, but it hasn't effected their stuff or pricing too much... |
